Doncic is only 19 and already got rid of DSJ and it's only January.

Didn't even need to fake an injury either.

How long did it take Lebron to get rid of Waiters?

Only too 1/3 of season to surpass Lebron's rookie season

Got to rid of the undersized chuckers if you want to win. Lebron knows this. Doncic knows this.

Is DSJ really a chucker? Doncic seems to have the ball most of the time, I really found this trading speculation very early (they did not even have 5 months playing together)

ps: I agree that undersized shooters do not work in the current league (maybe 1 on the roster, and that's it)

Yes DSJ is a chucker.

This season he has 3 turnovers to 4 assists.

I suppose you could play this guy if you really wanted at some bad team, but why would you, except sell a few tickets?

With Doncic you got to go with high IQ unselfish guys. Lebron didn't want Waiters for the same reason.

I wouldn't call him a a ball hog per say but he does tend to forget everyone else exists when he has the ball in his hands. For a guy who drives as much as he does you'd think his assist numbers would be higher.

He's also one one of those guys who you can kind of tell when he is not going to pass no matter what on a given play. I think its more of a tunnel vision issue but sometimes that's a super hard thing to break a player out of.

I wonder if they consult him at all on the trades?I mean young guys don't always know what's best for them, but it wouldnt hurt to ask "Do you see yourself fitting with this guy?". Even if you still go your own way the player would probably respect that. I find it funny how so many people were thinking Luka couldnt be the primary ball handler, and Dennis was a dream made in heaven for him to carry the mavs for years lol.

If they cant get anything worthwhile though they might be better off just keeping him
