2000 Lakers? 3 in a row, 4 finals in 5 years.

They are my 6th choice. I decided to exclude them due to the fact that they played the weakest Finals competition in recent memory and the teams had chemistry problems.

Meanwhile, the 80s Celtics often had to face the 80s Lakers.

1. '60s Celtics
2. '90s Bulls
3. '80s Lakers (I rank Bird ahead of Magic but the Lakers played in 9 finals in 12 seasons and won 5 of them)
4. '80s Celtics
5. '10s Warriors (That's assuming they win it again this season)
6. '00s Lakers
7. '00s Spurs (Despite not repeating, 3 rings in 5 seasons make 'em a dynasty in my opinion)
8. '80s Pistons (If there weren't a phantom call, they could be the very first team that threepeated after Russell. That's before MJ and Shaq)
9. '10s Heat

I think those are the all dynasties there's. I can't find other proper teams.

Agree with the 1st 3, in that order.

4-6 is debatable. You can make cases for any of them over the other.

Solid list.

Wow, you think I actually have the Warriors too high? For what it's worth, I don't like collusion. In fact, collusion is wack.

I think so.

The Celtics went to NBA Finals 12 times in 13 seasons. Won 11. (From 1956-57 to 1968-69)
The Bulls went to NBA Finals 6 times in 8 seasons. Won 6. (From 1990-91 to 1997-98) And considering MJ's 2 season retirement between, their win record is the only that can be compared to the Celtics.
The Lakers went to NBA Finals 9 times in 12 seasons. Won 5. (From 1979-80 to 1990-91) If you want to make ratio look better for the Lakers, you could shorten it to 1988-89 and say the Lakers went to NBA Finals 8 times in 10 seasons and won 5 of them.

The Warriors've been around for 5 seasons (counting this season) as a contending team. That's just too short for a comparsion against those 3 dynasties.

I didn't start watching bball a few years ago. :lol So i'm not going to get caught up in the moment. Sure, if GSW wins again this year, that makes them look even better. But they still have to get it done.

But gun to my head, i might take the 1987 Lakers as the GOAT team. People forget just how talented the 80's Lakers were. They could play any style. Half court with KAJ, Magic or Worthy or run you to death in transition with Magic, Worthy, Scott & Coop. Few teams could TRULY do that. Vast majority prefer a certain style.

Even the Nuggets and Spurs had trouble hanging with them.

1. 1960's Celtics
2. 1990's Bulls
3. Showtime Lakers
4. 2000s Lakers
5. 2010's Warriors

I think u gotta go with these 5 teams. All repeated AND have a minimum of three rings. All rock star type teams who had guys who transcended the sport. AND had multiple guys were who among the top 2 players in the world at their respective positions.

#1 60s celtics
#2 90s bulls
#3 80s lakers
#4 00s lakers
#5 50s lakers

80s celtics only won 3
