Kyrie Irving on recent criticism of his younger teammates:

What a beta b*tch

Kyrie should also apologize for almost costing LeBron a ring in 2016 by running out of bounds and throwing the ball in the air with Draymond guarding him the last minute of Game 7, almost causing a crucial turnover

Kyrie should be praised for this.

So many people out there can’t admit when they’re wrong.

Good look for Kyrie.

kyrie lost a lot of speed/quickness after surgery and his game has suffered greatly because of it

its humbled him to the point of giving up on himself and accepting his destiny as a #2. so much so that he calls up a guy that called him kid/boy and apologized for wanting to prove himself

its almost shameful... no mamba in him.

imagine kobe giving up after 2005 and calling shaq to say sorry/he was right

what a beta bitch

and you people wonder why i dropped him out of my top 10

:facepalm

Kyrie is having the best regular season he’s ever had.

And admitting you’re wrong is a sign of strength, not weakness. How do you not know that?

Good lord you’re dumb.

Kyrie is a master at messing with these LeBronites media fanboys.. he'll probably get a little more positive press for praising their false god. Should be interesting to see how this plays out and in turn how he plays with the fanboy media on his side per say.

I dont think he ever had a serious problem with lebron. I've always felt he saw hiw bad an owner Gilbert was and also knew lebron was leaving. He wants to lead this Boston team to the finals.

Is this an effin big deal?

Aren't we already exposed to these players hating each other and then they gonna laugh, high five during or after the game as if nothing happened?

Media just trying to make news out of nothing here. Nothing to see here.

kyrie was amazing for the cavs you don't win an NBA championship without a guy like that - a guy that can singlehandedly win you big games with clutch-shooting.

I'm glad that he finally called bron and thanked him for carrying him to a championship.

Kyrie was a borderline top 10 player in the league before this, but Im sorry, this is just way too beta. I hereby decree him banned from the top 10 for the remainder of this season, and all of next season. NO list in which he appears in the top 10 will be deemed credible in that time. He can apply for reinstatement in 20-21.

passive aggressive would be asking magic to get the scrubs off the team asap.

bron is championship/mvp/most accolades all-time aggressive. very different metric entirely.

inb4 all rumors from now until summer are about kyrie and lebron reunion in LAThey would have to sign him. LA has nothing to offer that you would bring up in a trade for a superstar. Second best player is Kuzma who the Celtics probably wouldn't start. Also Irving doesn't particularly want to play with James and may even want to not play with him. He's already rejected that opportunity.

Solid move by Kyrie. You can see he wants this team succeed. They need to start clicking on the road.

It's pretty clear he did that and then told the media about it because he was trying to passive aggressively send a message to some of his young teammates. Otherwise why tell the media? Just keep that shit between u and bron

His way of basically saying "I should have never listened to Kobe and his gotta be the first option or you'll never get credit bullshit."

Guarantee Kobe was chirping in Kyrie's ear telling him to get out of Cleveland, get your own team so you can get all the credit as the leader instead of being forever remembered as the sidekick like I am.

Sheesh, you guys believe this narrative they dislike each other.

Both of them leaving speaks more to not trusting Dan Gilbert and Cleveland's front office situation. Lebron tried to dip without telling guys and Kyrie was hip to it so he left before he got stuck with a bad team.

Other than that, you can tell they respect each other won a championship together and are not harboring ill feelings.
