"Klay thinpson is the key to another LeBron Championship." -ESPN

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf_OzrX_Mmg

Getting KILLED in the comment section, too.

"How the fvck is a key player on team a key to success for another team?" :lol

On a serious note, after a player scores 40 points, ESPN/FOX will talk about how that player is the "key" to LeBron's success. Weird shit.

It's been:

Kemba
Paul George
Kawhi
KD
AD
Now Kyrie
Thompson
Beal

Imagine seeing a headline like:

"Charles Barkley is the key to success for another MJ Championship."

KD called them boys out and it's getting WORSE. Feels like a dream.

It's pathetically disgusting how hard the media tries to shove Bran down our throats. They have turned our game of basketball into some Kardashian reality TV bullshit which the sheeple Bran stan eat up...while they're slurping up LeKardashian.

Such a media manufactured fraud.

Why HIM though? Why does everyone involved with the NBA need to rig everything for this entitled balding ****?

What makes LeBron so special that HE of all players needs to be sent to the finals year after year? Why not Anthony Davis? Why not ANYONE else?

Yet you guys cheer for GS, who recruited Durant for the entire 2016 season as the defending champions.

Yeah. It's pretty crazy. Klay has a great game and media wants him to "play for Lebron".

Weird shit. Never seen anything like it.

It is weird.

Kemba Walker goes off for 40. Man, he'd be great alongside Bron.

Bradley Beal? That brotha can ball. Can the Lakers get him?

Klay just scored 53 on 20 touches and 4 dribbles. Precisely the kind of shooter the Lakers need.

It's like the idea that these players can't go to other teams isn't even a consideration. I don't know if it's because it's Lebron, or because its the Lakers, but the media seems to be actively campaigning for that team to load up with just about anyone who can help produce a championship.

It was like this WAAAAAAY before the Lakers, brother.

Imagine Klay Thompson on the Bucks or some shit?

Why isn't anyone talking about getting Giannis some help? Or James Harden?

Like I said, I've NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS. A player who is THIS GOOD, but needs the BEST scorers/best shooters around him to be competitive.

Indeed. This is a guy still looking to prove himself and on an upward trajectory in his career. You'd think some more discussions would center around what he needs to produce his first title. The league is at a point where it needs to be building new 'faces'. Lebron's on the back nine, Curry, KD, Westbrook and Durant are the 30 year olds in their prime right now. Kawhi is 28. We're due for that next 'new' star.

Nope. Imagine Giannis with legit spacing

Or why can't Tobias Harris get some help on the Clippers or Vujevic get some help down in Orlando?

What the media is doing is weird af and unprecedented.

I mean...they were just COLLECTIVELY pressuring Anthony Davis to sandbag/sit out of his contract to play in L.A. even though it would ruin his reputation.

Pretty disgusting stuff...and EXTREMELY strange.

Anyone remember that playoff series where Shaq, of all players, was forced to become a spot-up shooter catching 50mph bail out passes 16 feet from the basket?

That was when LeBron decided to leave Cleveland. Didn't have enough help. Ben Wallace and Shaq. Dumb old Cavs bringing in proven winners like Wallace and Shaq  gotta get moar help (not winners - just guys that can play a 1 dimensional role of catch bailout passes and shoot them with no time on the clock - Ray Allen, Kyrie, etc)

Lakers don't have that - players that have all around skill or use the paint get in LeBrons way. Just catch the damn bail out pass and turn it into points with 2 seconds on the clock is that really too much to ask? http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/images/icons/icon11.gif No time to shoot, always time for more help.

Sad part is that Kuzma, Ball, Ingram, Hart, and etc are LITERALLY playing with their careers/reputation on the line.

They know that they're always one loss away from the media publicly lampooning them and their trade value decreasing afterward.

Sucks, tbh. Not how I wanted to see ANY of these guys go out.

Kuzma is a fan favorite and a league favorite, but the media wants LA to trade him for another star (who will subsequently be the scapegoat) and the process repeats itself.

Lefail is a cancer. Look what he did to the great careers of Larry Hughes, Mo Williams, Damon Jones, Boobie Gibson. As soon as they left cancer ball, they could no longer play because the cancer became terminal.

Almost as bad as what happened to Smush Parker. But not even close to what happened to budding megastar, Andrew Bynum.
