Don't know about being contenders, specially considering both Griffin and Conley seem are injury prone, but this trade would really improve their roster.

Doesn't Conley make $30+ million a year? No thanks man, he's a solid PG but with that kinda money he better be a superstar and not injury prone.

Even Gasol got paid and hasn't been the same since his contract year... he's not young either. Plus he's inefficient as hell, especially in the playoffs. Imagine if prime Kobe could team up with him... automatic chip.
