Certainly not their first 3 years making the playoffs

Regular Season

MJ. 85-87' (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01.html#1985-1987-sum:per_game):. 31.7 ppg.. 2.0 oreb.. 3.6 dreb.. 5.0 apg.. 2.6 spg.. 1.2 bpg.. 57.1 ts.. 27.8 PER
LBJ 06-08' (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jamesle01.html#2006-2008-sum:per_game):. 27.2 ppg.. 1.2 oreb.. 5.9 dreb.. 7.1 apg.. 1.4 spg.. 1.0 bpg.. 56.3 ts.. 27.2 PER..

^^^Yet MJ's teams only got the 8 seed, while lebron got the 2 seed and a couple 4 seeds.

And MJ's stats are deflated by his injured 86' season (18 games at 25 mpg)

Playoffs

MJ. 85-87' (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jordami01.html#1985-1987-sum:playoffs_per_game):. 35.5 ppg.. 1.9 oreb.. 4.4 dreb.. 6.9 apg.. 2.4 spg.. 1.5 bpg.. 56.0 ts.. 27.4 PER
LBJ 06-08' (https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/j/jamesle01.html#2006-2008-sum:playoffs_per_game):. 27.5 ppg.. 1.4 oreb.. 6.6 dreb.. 7.3 apg.. 1.6 spg.. 0.8 bpg.. 53.1 ts.. 23.8 PER..

^^^Yet MJ lost in the 1st round and Lebron made Finals... :lebronamazed:... :lebronamazed:

Obviously, lebron's teams made up his statistical deficit to MJ with a better cast, as one would expect from a 2 seed versus an 8 seed. . MJ's 8 seeds compare better with lebron's 9 seeds from 05'

I'm not entirely sure he has or hasn't yet, but if i had to pick a moment I'm pretty sure it was 2016 when he "LeGM'd/LeCoached/Bron balled" the Cavs to a title over a 73 win monster, leading his team not only from a 3-1 deficit in the the finals (winning game 7 on the road at that), but also leading BOTH teams in all statistical categories. All that while being a unholy force on defense the last few games of the series. That's quite a hell of a load from just one playoff run, wouldn't you agree? Untouchably special run. :applause:

When you losing to Dwight Howard with HCA you are a fraud. Not to mention when you are down every year at least 3-2 in a series including 5 years in a row with hca

It was impressive for sure, against a crippled opponent. Too bad it's just one ring versus 6 of MJ's. Not enough.

Good job, good effort.

Not only that but when you have a guy on your team who outplays the league unanimous mvp anyone would win that.

Ok, so you've downplayed MJ and Duncan. Now you just need to downplay Kobe and GSW. Please, tell us more so we can be left with LeBron and 3/9 rings.

Kobe's the league's best attempt to replicate the MJ phenomenon. There were several botched ones: VC, TMac, Harold fking Miner. They were quickly discarded and probably clubbed on the knees by Stern's lackeys to make Kobe stand out more.

Steph Curry is a transgender. That facial hair ain't foolin anybody. Having no dick gives you tremendous advantage when it comes to balance on your jumper.

LeBron: great athlete. great vision. 0 fking ball skills. The man had the same scouting report on em for 9 years. NINE: Drive right to the rim; drives left and does a fall away. NINE YEARS.

It's funny you choose to go that route here, because I'm absolutely sure any self-respecting Mj fan would never bring up the fact that Worthy and Byron Scott were both injured in the 91 finals as any sort of disclaimer to Mj's accomplishment.....

The Lakers faced a huge blow as Worthy and Scott left the game (and eventually the series) with ankle and shoulder injuries, respectively. With the lack of Worthy and Scott, and bad shooting (especially from Sam Perkins), the Bulls were able to take a 16-point lead in the third quarter.

The Lakers were facing elimination, and the absences of James Worthy and Byron Scott were not any help to the Lakers.

Worthy was banged up, but still torched Scottie for 19 ppg, tops on the Lakers

He played 40 mpg thru 4 games and was only injured for game 5 where he sat out

Byron, otoh, was hurt.. but his health only makes MJ more aggressive against an opponent whom his edge was great

After thinking it some more, Lebron did not surpass Jordan in 2011. Lebron is 3-6 in the Finals, with some major choke jobs, playing in a very weak conference, and even losing to many teams while being heavily favorite (like to Orldando with freaking Dwight Howard.) So I don't think he can surpass Jordan.

It took Lebron what, 4 seasons to pass MJ in Finals losses and less ppg and more TOs on worse shooting than MJ ever did in a Finals series? That's quite an accomplishment.

You mean losing by record amount?

Otherwise winning the championship with an equal scoring partner (16' Kyrie) isn't goat..

Jordan's 93' Finals was 7-11 ppg more than lebron and an ACTUAL finals record, not just picking 5 random categories that he leads, which I can do for Jordan too.. anyone can do that for most top players (find 5 categories that he leads)
