View Full Version : Imagine if LeBron signed with Philadelphia instead of the Lakers...

He would have been loved and welcomed by the most dedicated and hardcore fans in the league.

He would have been at the helm of the best young team in the NBA and favourites for the East.

The team would have been a match for the Warriors in the finals.

Simmons
JJ
Jimmy
Bron
Joel

Honestly it's better we didn't get him.

If you're a real Philly guy, you'll know deep down that LeBron is not the type of athlete we embrace.

Jimmy Butler is perfect for us. He's kinda humble but kinda arrogant, he's a hothead and a little bit of a headcase... but he's OUR headcase, and he's gritty and plays hard, defends, and obviously wants to win.

Bron is a diva. He throws teammates under the bus if it makes him look good. He spends the reg season coasting. Philadelphia would hate that shit more than other cities. Plus Bron would have hijacked the narrative of the team. It wouldn't be "The Sixers with LeBron James", it would be "LeBron James and his Sixers". He would take over the culture of the team and leave it a steaming pile of shit when he was done.

I'm very glad he went somewhere else.

Hmm interesting take but you are a casual Sixers' fan.

You are not a Process truster.

When we were down you weren't saying shit.

Wrong, dickhead

I am not a casual fan... just because I refuse to watch my own teams when they bottom out does not make me a casual. I was a fan back when Iverson was still dragging us into the playoffs. I never stopped being a Sixers fan... I just stopped watching the games.

I'm still a Flyers fan... but I won't watch another game this season.

I can't get into sports without knowing my team can at least get themselves into the fight. It's not interesting to know we suck. It makes losses depressing, and it makes wins hollow. Who cares if we get a win over a 2 seed in february when it's only our tenth win of the year? Not me, at least.

Why you are tryin to play gatekeeper is beyond me, my dude. I'm not an Embiid player fan like some of these blowhards in this forum, I'm not a racist and I'm not no f*ckin casual

I'm good old homegrown Lower Bucks trash. I prefer american witout. i cried when b graham knocked that ball outta brady's hands.

accept me

I'm not hating but you should know like I do there are 3 types of Sixers fans. I encounter them everyday.

Hardcore fans that are Process trusters.

Hardcore fans that hated the Process.

Casual fans that only care when the team is winning.

If I misjudged you, I apologize. But you should know where it is at.

If you are a Sixers' fan and you are down I accept you.

But remember I am rolling with Hinkie.

No true Sixers fan wants that cancer to ruin the entire process and the entire future of the organization with his annual on court visible meltdowns and demanding overhauls of the entire coaching staff/teammates. Your Sixers fandom has been revoked. GTFO and never come back.

The f#ck you think you are talking to?

I have cut you a lot of slack because you apparently stan Embiid, son.

But you are no Philly fan. You have even publicly admitted this on more than one occasion.

I know your agenda, so don't try feed me any shit. Your opnion means nothing to me or any true Process truster.

The second paragraph literally describes Butler to a T for his entire career.

Simmons would get traded for a point guard. They would be a legit threat to beat the Warriors with James, Embiid, and maybe Kemba Walker. If they managed to add Butler to that and Butler was ok with averaging 12 points they would dominate.

Fortunately James is more interested in show business these days than winning rings.

Aight, you do get cred for that.

The thing is Simmons is with Clutch too. Makes me think its is all beyond basketball.

It seems pretty obvious, if he did want more rings he would have come to Philly.

Ben Simmons 25

LeBron would render Simmons irrelevant for 50% of their time together on the court at least...

For as much shit as people give Lonzo, at least he can shoot the three way better than Simmons right now.

Seeing as he is 3/9 I'm not sure you could really say he was ever busy winning rings :oldlol:

I wish he signed in Philly. Lakers are a dumpster fire now

Even Russell Westbrook can shoot the threes better, since Ben Simmons has never even made a three point shot in the NBA, and doesn't even take them anymore, to the extent he shot them last year (almost never).

He should've gone to Philly if he wanted another ring, but it seems he doesn't care about winning anymore. He's basically gone into retirement mode early.
