Couple reasons... in no particular order...

1) He's really good.
2) He's white... this might be the biggest reason, hard to say... probably is... when's the last time the league had a white guy come in and start being that good that quickly? When? 40 years?
3) He's probably the most mentally tough rookie we've seen since **** knows when...

The thing that most struck me about Simmons last year was how composed and mature he was on the court 90% of the time. With Luka... it's often times a different level from Simmons.
