Among top 10 players

So everyone lost with good teams except MJ (6-0)

Accordingly, the league is lucky he didn't land on a good team right away or get a good sidekick early on like Magic, Duncan, Kobe, Shaq, Kareem, Bird, etc

otherwise, he'd have 10-13 rings. Lebron can't say that because he loses with good teams all the time (6 losses with 1 or 2 seeds)

But he lost with two 20pt scorers

In 1990 the Bulls had the 2nd best record in the East and won 55 games, you're just arguing semantics

wow I did not know that.

Who are the top 10 players? Do you mean the ISH list?

Woolridge, Dailey, Gervin were all better scorers than prime Pippen. Why did Jordan underachieve?

No I'm not - Lebron, Magic, and Larry lost 6 times each with 1 and 2 seeds

And a 3 seed will be an underdog more often, as MJ was in 1990.. Again, Lebron/Magic/Larry lost as favored 1 and 2 seeds all the time.

Only MJ never lost with a good team

1995
17 Starts, 13 Wins, 4 Losses

Plentiful rest. First seed pace. Lost in the 2nd round.

How many all time great teams did they beat? Old Pistons? Old Lakers? Wow so impressive!

That's due to his ability to step it up, preventing situations that will give the other team an increase chance of winning. For example, the flu game should had been a loss. Game six in 98, clutch shot, clutch steal, clutch shot, preventing game 7.

It's one of the biggest difference that I see with Lebron. For example last year, game 6 against the Pacers. Lebron visibly quit against the Pacer. Thus putting himself in a position where the Pacers could win in game 7.

Or the series against Dwight Howard.

Old Pistons?

Isiah was 29 in 1991.. dumars and rodman were 27. All were all-stars and the team was favored to 3-peat heading into the 91' season (http://articles.latimes.com/1990-10-28/sports/sp-4734_1_detroit-pistons).

The bulls simply destroyed them the same way the 14' spurs beat the 2-time Heat - with superior brand of ball against an all-star team (pistons had 3x all-stars at every starting spot; bulls had 1x pippen)

Surely elevating the bulls from 8-seed doormats in 86', to 6th-seeded overachievers in 89', to still underdogs (http://articles.latimes.com/1990-10-28/sports/sp-4734_1_detroit-pistons) heading into their 91' championship season is a tougher path than landing on the Finals favorite heading into year 1 (https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2241463-nba-championship-odds-2014-15-every-teams-chances-of-winning-the-nba-title#slide0), as lebron did in 2011 and 2015.

Old Lakers? Wow so impressive!

Perkins and Divac were sophisticated bigs that could pass and shoot - both averaged 17/9 in the Finals and were easily better than anyone after the magic/MJ and worthy/pippen matchups.. and btw, magic was 31 and runner-up for league MVP, while worthy was all-nba and led the Lakers in Finals scoring at 19 ppg...

After magic/worthy/divac/perkins, the Lakers still had 90' all-star ac green (divac/perkins took his minutes).. and elden campbell... That's way more talent than the bulls had

He had a stacked team and faced cupcakes.
Who knew he would win some games as the favorite versus cupcakes.
It helps when you have Scottie Pippen doing everything

When the second seed is 53 wins and the third is 55....
Losses as 1 or 2 seed

Bird: 5
Magic: 6
Wilt: 9
Russell: 2
Kareem: 9
Kobe: 4
Shaq: 5
Duncan: 6
Lebron: 6
the goat: 0

That's a big enough sample to show that MJ was the most unbeatable
