View Full Version : Why does Curry have as many FMVPs as Miley Cyrus?

TheCorporation

After conducting research pertaining to previous Finals MVP winners I procured all necessary data points to begin creating my new list.

People with the same amount of Finals MVPs

Justin Beiber
Stephen Curry *Note: Actual NBA player
Donald Trump
Miley Cyrus

And some people might not even believe my research results so I've included a picture for evidence:

c) Thank you for free rent, rent is expensive in California
d) Why does Curry have as many FMVPs as Miley Cyrus?

The real answer is because he has played with amazing teammates that have stepped up big time.

Curry played well enough to win multiple Finals MVP's but his teammates have played even better than he did. He has gotten outshined in every finals series by multiple players.

Curry got robbed of two FMVPs already. The way he was on a historic run in 2016 he probably would have got a 3rd if he didn

I'd like to think he's just content winning championships...

But then you see his face when someone else is awarded Finals MVP. Could tell it bothers him. I think this year might be his time. He's looked great lately. I think KD has to do it and force feed Curry into winning the Finals MVP. Also now that he's not gonna be playing against Lebron, I'm sure KD will be less motivated.

Nothing I said was wrong.

Curry played well enough to win (normally), but he had a teammate that was even better than him and outshined him.

He had multiple chances, but he always had at least one terrible game that lost it for him. If it weren't for his game 3 last year, he probably would've won. But instead he goes 3-16 and lets KD take it from him.

Curry fans rewriting history again lol. Durant was much better in 2017 and there was no layup line due to Steph's offensive impact. Your making shit up. Not only was Durant better offensively while being gaurded by better defenders. He was also a million times better defensively.

in 2015 he was the best player offensively but not not by as much as you think when you consider how much more efficient Iggy was. On the other hand Iggy was way better defensively.he was responsible for forcing one of the greatest players ever to have one of the worst shooting performance ever. Iggy's defensive impact was much greater than Steph's offensive impact.
You better pray your boy Steph gets a fmvp this year because this is going to be his last chance at it.
This dude has been melting down over Curry since he joined. In 2015 Iggy was efficient because Curry was getting double teamed all series and left wide open play after play. Even though Bron was playing with a lot of bums in 2015, Warriors still didn't bother to double team him and he still shot like Westbrook..

Curry was doubled teamed all game. He rarely gets double teamed. That's another lie that curry fans like to bring up. And your right the warriors didn't bother to double team lebron because Iggy was doing such a good job on him defensively they didn't need need to. Thanks for making my point.

And I don't melt down over curry. He's a great player and seems like an even greater person. Some of his fans are just delusional is all.

Nobody should be able to, with a straight face, defend iggy winning over curry. That's nonsense. It was so nonsensical that it wasnt outrageous. It was just like o word. I mean the whole voting of bran with more votes than curry then his defender winning was cringe. Not that iggy didn't ball, but they straight up robbed curry. He might have been mediocre by his standards at times but he was still by far the best player on the winning team.

Well if you value defence as much as offence like you should then you can easily make a case for iggy. Yeah curry scored 10 points more a game but iggy pretty much shut down one of the best players ever. His impact defensively was worth way more than the extra10 points and 1.5 assists that curry had over iggy.

And before you respond with "how did iggy shut lebron down when lebron had 35 a game" nonsense just Remember that lebron shot under 40% that series. Literally anyone in the nba can score 35 points on 39% shooting.
