This is a guy willing to turn down the super max deal of about $240 million to go play elsewhere.
What does $50K mean to Anthony Davis?

I wonder why others who requested trade were not fired? Like Kyrie or Kawhi..

Nah he got fined because his agent made a public statement.
Kyrie went behind closed doors and the story broke... same with Butler.

Punishment would be banning him from joining the Lakers.. but if we're being honest, that's the opposite of what Silver and Co. want. That would make the biggest franchise instantly a contender and the ratings would go up higher.

exactly.
50K is more disrespectful to us fans than anyone else.
Silver REALLY believes that the fine will silence the obvious tampering claims :lol

fines should be proportional to income the way they do it in european countries... makes no sense to slap these clowns with fines like this thinking you're punishing them.

Doesn't matter. Rich Paul (Lebron) covering the fines at this point.

And why so specifically the Lakers? I thought this team was in no contention and lottery bound currently. AD specifically says he wants to play for a contender. Yet here you are all sweating about him going to LA?
Warriors fans so nervous :lol

Not about the Lakers. It's about Lebron. The league is desperate. Curry and KD about to do him GREASY in the first round IF he makes the playoffs.
8 straight NBA finals in the east = hardcore anul assault in the 1st round in the West.

Another GROUND n POUND in the 1st round by Kevin Durant. Yikes.
My money is on Lebron being "injured" again before playing the Warriors in the playoffs.

I'm not nervous, I'm just calling it as it is. And you and everyone here knows that the Lakers are anything but a lottery team. They were a few injuries away from making the playoffs last year, they're easily a top 4-7 seed right now. AD would propel them further. It's obviously the Lakers because there's clear tampering with this team going on.
