I believe in some regulation of abortion in specific cases, though I would have to think long and hard about where I'd place the legal cutoff.

If we take a woman's right to control her body to the most extreme conclusion, that would legitimately allow for her to decide on the day she's about to have the kid, nah nvm. I guess the parodic example would be: end of the third trimester, totally healthy kid and mom, opting out for merely convenience-based reasons. It's rare that would happen, but it's something that would make anyone's skin crawl.

This is a pretty impossible to solve issue, but both of the absolutist extremes are barbaric. I'm much more liberal on the issue than I am conservative, but as with immigration, it's one of the areas where I'm conflicted.

Med school is 4 years of undergrad, plus 4 years of actual med school, followed by your actual residency which generally consists of another 3 to 7 years.

Do you think a governor knows fvck all about any of this process?

A decision to abort in the 3rd trimester is made to save the mother's life, or if it's a polypregnancy and sacrificing one of the fetuses may save the others lives.

Medical professionals don't allow a pregnancy to continue that late and give the mother an option of aborting that late unless her life is in danger. The idea is ridiculous.

Unfortunately, religious zealots and politicians don't know this stuff, but that sure as hell won't stop them from talking. Leave this shit to the professionals.

Cardiomyopathy-too much strain on a mother's heart caused by baby. Generally more an older woman problem, however with obesity skyrocketing....heart disease is factor in younger and younger patients.

Dangerous arrhythmias in mother and/or child, blood sepsis aka infection (mother will be lucky to survive nevermind continuing a pregnancy), anemia-mother can't support her own blood supply let alone additional child.
