When you really peel back what Kristaps has done, how many other 3rd year players would you truthfully take over Kristaps Porzinigis? The man has been impressive on the Knicks, performing at a pretty high level:
-Porzingis = 23-7-1 and shooting splits of 40/44/80
I also noticed that both his PPG and his 3P% have gone up every year. How many other 3rd year players would you take over him?
Let's look at a few and see what we think
-Davis = 24-10-2 on 8/54/80
-Ingram = 17-5-3- on 30/49/65
-Simmons = 17-9-8 on 0/57/59 **Year 2
-Embiid = 27-13-4 on 30/49/80
-Tatum = 16-6-2 on 38/45/86 **Year 2
-Irving = 21-3-6 on 36/43/86
-Giannis = 17-8-4 on 26/51/73
It seems obvious we would choose Embiid and Davis but how many other recent young players are we taking over Porzingis after 3 years? He seems to be outperforming nearly every young star after 3 years.
