Why is everyone acting like Tatum is a superstar? The only thing tatum is better than ingram is shooting. Ingram is better at everything else.

Nope. Tatum is going to be the alpha dog soon in Boston. once we ship Kyrie

We haven't seen Ingram's capability in the playoffs.

I will say he's as polished as anyone his age group. Tatum included. Ingram has young Melo triple-threat skills, and the only thing "holding him back" is mentality. Well, that and Luke Walton benching his ass :oldlol:

Nobody ever said he's a superstar.

Ingram is the better iso scorer. He's improved his mid-range game and he can be deadly once he bulks up and improves his accuracy from the stripes. He probably has the most untapped potential.

The only reason I'd keep Kuzma over him is he's better suited to playing alongside LeBron since he cuts and runs the floor better.

They are 20 and 21 respectively so it's still early but we have seen Tatum perform at a high level in the playoffs whereas with BI we haven't seen him do well under pressure.

Tatum has better handle and off ball game, in addition to the shooting. These three are insanely important, hence hes the better player.

Ingram better scorer on much better FG % and he's an elite defender at 21.

Its pretty obvious he's better than Tatum. Brown looks like a bust on the other hand.

They are equal as defenders.

Elite defender?

He is ranked 54th for small forwards in DRPM with -0.57.

An elite defender would be Robert Covington. 2nd among all wings (behind only PG) with + 2.9.

Look at this stat nerd. Ingram is being put on the teams best offensive player. Go watch the games when he guards Butler and KD and tell me Tatum is on equal level :oldlol:

God I hate when dweebs try to talk about ball. Like you ever played any serious ball in your life you nerd

I see you're going the Trump way. When real world facts don't agree with you, you just attack and dismiss it.

If it were the other way around you just know he'd sprint towards those stats for material to bump his silly agenda, lol.

Tatum is a pretty good defender. Ingram is also a pretty good defender, but not elite.

Tatum is no longer better than Ingram at anything. It's actually an insult to say his name on the same sentence as Ingram.

people in this forum are absolutely braindead when it comes to do with anything celtic related. I remember a few retards here thinking Jaylen Brown would be a role player

obesity related diseases had been running for decades now. not sure if another food disorder crisis can necessarily be considered as manufactured.

Ingram and Tatum are pretty equal in terms of production tbh. Of course this gets bumped when Tatum has the best month of his career.

Last 3 years

Tatum: 25/7/4 57.4%TS
Ingram: 24/6/5 57.6%TS

If only BI played for a competent franchise.. The Pels are 6 - 18 without him this season :kobe:

Tatum is doing 27 8 and 4 to Ingram's 23 6 and 5. No one but you is going to go by that "average of last three seasons" nonsense. You are talking numbers they posted when Tatum wasn't old enough to legally drink. Please don't post garbage arguments that you know are weak. Add in the massive edge in Tatum's defense and this is not close. The real argument is where'd or not Tatum gets first team All NBA. The days of comparing him to Ingram Kuzma etc are over.

Keep in mind this thread was created in Feb of Tatums 2nd season when he was averaging 16 ppg and had a slightly negative BPM.

Right now Tatum is clearly better but Ingram is still a good player though his 3pt shooting is just a bit off this season.

I definitely would agree that Ingram is a good player. I only replied that last time because someone still wants to put him on par with Tatum. He's entitled to his opinion but a correction was in order.
