Can you tell if a dude is Jamaican just based off his physical appearance

As in, are there physical traits are indicators of a black person being "Jamaican"

I'd imagine if there was, it'd be a general Carribean thing

Black people can never be considered the best athletes because they are negative buoyant in the water due to bone density.

Sadly, that's too big of a weakness to overlook. Running and jumping doesn't quite cut it.

I know these feels, Im built dense af. Never broke a bone in my life, and I typically outweigh people of equal height and bf% by a good 15-20 pounds cause my skeletal is straight up THICK.

Jamaicans don't even talk to each other like that at all.

That shit is a front they put up for tourists. The whole charade developed over time. No one knows exactly how it got like it is, but by now they have a reputation to uphold.

Tourism is literally by far the number one industry on the whole of the island - so it's very much a matter of livelihood for Jamaicans to continue saying "yah mon" whenever they see tourists.

word cups are way more dependent on a team of superstars and the country with the most superstars usually gets the edge. and even then it involves a lot of luck since its a single game elimination tournament that happens once every 4 years. so you only get a few real shots. its a fluky team accomplishment


just look at the world baseball classic. the US has only 1 gold medal/1 medal overall since its inception

japan has 2 gold medals and 4 medals overall


is japan better at baseball? are their legends better all time

There's a Jamaican lady that looks Trinidadian to even Indian.. yet she's Jamaican. You gotta also know the demographics of a certain neighborhood ie: little italy etc. You factor that in and you can differentiate the Italians from the Portugees etc etc.. However, there are Jamaicans who live in the rural communities where people who look like them are infrequent. Factoid: There's a lot of Chinese/Jamaican mix going on since time.. why that is? IDK.

^China has had some people in jamaica for a hundred years or so. thery came with the british as workers when jamaica was just starting not to be a breaker island. Tyson beckford is 1/4th chinese IIRC

But now it's sad, the modern chinese own ALL the mines and important natural resource sites in jamaica, bahamas, etc. The leaders sold out to chinese for chump change and killed their peoples chances of getting wealthy of the minerals when they finally organized enough to start mining and refining in the 21st century.

And when Maradona led his 86 squad to the world cup title, he did not have a team "full of superstars". Only other players of historical note on that team where Daniel Passarella, Jorge Valdano and maybe a young Oscar Ruggeri :confusedshrug:
