for me:

Prime minister stephen harper ( twice at the same play it again sports 2 years in a row while working next door. shook his hand. got an autograph )

Wil Weaton ( at comiccon, asked him if he was still a genius and he said he actually was in real life. apparently his IQ is pretty high )

Raven ( in the back of an independant wrestling show. corrected him on something he forgot while talking to a girl he would later bang that night )

Corey Charron ( a friend from ottawa that made it as a battle rapper/performer on wild'n'out. did a free style battle with him at a party once )

Leo Rautins ( met him at half time during a raptor game. got a shitty autograph that i quickly tossed in the garbage )

Bobby Roode ( met in the back of another independent wrestling show. he told me it was a "waste of f*cking time" being there. i told him they were idiot quebecers that didn't know who he was )

one of my landlords nearly a decade ago was a pretty famous wealthy guy in canada that raced cars with ottawa senator players

i dated the daughter of an important politician from Jerusalem that had his family sent to canada for safety

oh yeah and i dated a semi famous canadian director. can't give too much info on her other than she was an alcoholic that left the industry for a while and dated me inbetween. shes back in the business now doing some quality stuff for netflix

others i conversed with online via trolling/live QnA:

Robert horry, Goldberg, Kevin Owens, Paris Jackson... pretty sure i trolled henry abbott on espn boards back in the day

theres more that i can't remember right now. will update later

Undertaker

Ryno

Colt Cabana

Ron Artest

Elton Brand

Marcus Robinsin

Chris Zorich

Mike North

Sat on the lap of Wolves hockey player in my dads cab when we had to pick a few up after another broke down. I was in 5th grade, and pretty chubby. Felt so awkward :lol. Forgot who it was

Dad almost picked up OJ at the Ohare Plaza Hotel as I was in the car when the bs was happening. But my dad was a suburban cab and they aren't allowed to pick up people in Chicago. So when we got close my dad noticed a cop who was known for hanging around that hotel busting them saw my dad so he had to call the dispatcher and tell him he couldn't. Guy then told my dad it's OJ and they were wondering the the **** his cab was :oldlol:

I met Mariah Carey back in the day. My college buddy was obsessed with her and told me to wait in line with him. She was nice. I didn't hit it cuz that kinda stuff only happens in the movies.

I waited on Tim Tebow when I was a server at Cracker Barrel.

I ran into Billy Donovan as he was jogging right near my house and talked to him/took a picture.

I saw Roger Clemens at Universal Studios, but I didn't approach.

I saw Kurt Angle yelling at his kids at Universal Studios.

Etc. Etc.

Most of the ones I've talked to are Gator players and y'all don't know much about college football.

But I don't know most of the wrestlers y'all talk about.

I met Dustin Rhodes when I was working at a bowling alley, but I didn't care much because he's a wrestler.

Pretty sure Rhodes was snorting powder and he got upset when he had to pay for everyone.

Lol.. Speaking of which.. Met Rautins' son last year.. seemed like a good young man and he's definitely in the 6ft 4 1/2 range as he was just a tad taller than me. Slim built sharp shooter former knick/syracuse.

I have been... near... plenty

but the most famous person I ever met... like had a conversation that he might recall... would be Alex Grey. Back when his CoSM studio was in NYC... but he gave tours, I was one of many others there. I liked him, but he seemed so ordinary when compared with his works of art.

Met as in really talked with? A few Bulls and other NBA players and a couple rappers. I was in a group with but not really talking to Lil Kim once....my friend supposedly ****ed her. This is before she had all the plastic surgery. Nobody was particular blown away. Lil Kim is hood as hell in person...as you would expect.

I was at a thanksgiving dinner with Kevin Garnett. He stayed much of the meal and watched Species with us before he left. He was dating my cousin for a while and was from right up the street so nobody was shocked to see him. I didnt say much to him. I doubt he remembered we used to play ball. He played with everyone. We just spoke like we spoke to everyone else when they walked in and it was no big deal.

I dont think the older people there even knew he was a 100 million dollar man.

OP do you believe that you are more valuable/important than others because you have interacted with famous people?

BB King after one of his shows. I asked him where I should go to see good blues in Memphis if I should ever get there and he named a few places. A true gentleman.

Corey Taylor of Slipknot before a Stone Sour show just right out on the street. Pretty low-key, asked where a good place in Providence was to get pizza. I sent him to Caserta Pizzeria on Federal Hill.

Chino Moreno of Deftones at a Taco Bell right before a Deftones show. Offered to buy our tacos.

David Silviera (former drummer of Korn) at a Newbury Comics. Blew me off when two hot girls came up to him asking for an autograph.

I had my first alcoholic drink ever with Vinnie Paul and Dimebag Darrell of Pantera after a Pantera show. It was Crown Royal and it was the worst thing I've ever tasted (I was 16 and got into the show because a friend knew the door guy and got me in). One of the great nights of my life.

Stood in the back of the second stage crowd at Ozzfest and shot the shit with Andrew WK while watching Meshuggah for almost an hour. He was a total whackjob but funny as hell.

Met George RR Martin right after he did a book signing back before HBO blew his world up. He had hung around after the small crowd had cleared out to shop for books and I had done the same. Bumped into him in the history section. Very, very cool guy.

Was about five feet away from Natalie Portman once during her Harvard days, again at a book store. She had a small retinue of hens rolling with her so I didn't bother her.

I used to go to Clipper corporate events, so I've met and talked to most of the Clippers QRich/Odom era.

Cherokee Parks is a cool ass dude.

Hooped with Corey Benjamin in Fontana

Chatted with Raekwon and Ghost briefly at a Melrose liquor store

Went to a Magic Johnson event and briefly talked to Mark Jackson, Ron Harper,

Was talking to some dudes from Killarmy (again in Melrose)

Chatted with Tyrese at a Clippers after party at Keyshawn Johnson's restaurant where a bunch of players showed up. Almost got in a fight with Sheed cause he was rude to my homegirl.

Danced with Lisa Leslie at a club

My friends knew Lupillo Rivera, his sister and brothers so I've been around them (some may know who they are)

Also been around Chalino Sanchez twice, didn't say much to him just a greeting (not sure if those count)

Think I've mentioned that I balled against Schea Cotton and Bad Santa (old school heads will know who Schea Cotton is)

Im sure there's a few more

No way I would've played it cool with KG.

No damn way.

Save the acting for Hollywood.

I'd have to get a pic with him.
