We all know that rebounds and assists are 2/3 of the major and highest impact stats in basketball. To be able to master these two skills at the highest level makes one an incredibly valuable and impactful player for his team.

Now imagine getting the HARDEST rebound and the HARDEST assist ever on one play in the highest pressure you could possibly imagine...being seconds away from losing and the opposing team being crowned as champions. There is no higher pressure than this. To have the insane skill and composure to be able to not only masterfully execute these two high impact skills but to do them TOGETHER on the same play is absolutely incredible and would instantly cement the player as one of the most clutch and legendary players of all time.

I know it's hard to believe any one player would be able to execute the above scenario. It may sound like a fairy tale.

Best pick and roll defender of all time, too.

Sacrificed everything for winning.

A real hero.

Yeah he is the best 1-5 defender of his era.

There are several articles out there proving this if required by the spewing of certain alts.

Truth hurts.

But it's a fact that he's the best pick and roll defender of all time.

His ability to switch from big to small is unmatched.

The attempts to derail the absolute reality-based premise of this thread with unrelated spew-based deflections has been noted.

That was up there with Bird's steal and assist to Dennis Johnson.

Definitely top 3 alongside with MJ with a great assist to Steve Kerr. Too bad Lebron couldnt get an assist to somebody for a gamewinner/crucial clutch shot.

I see knicks fans have already moved on from porzingis and are back to begging for lebron. Doesn't make any sense to me he'll be 36 turning 37 after he's done his lakers contract...

It was big, but probably shouldn't have happened if Pop would have kept Tim Duncan on the floor instead of substituting him for Boris Diaw. I never understood that strategy. You match up Duncan on Bosh and 8 out of 10 times he comes down with that rebound and seals another championship for the spurs. I was shocked that Pop didn't get more backlash for that decision. 5 years from now, when Pop and Timmy are chatting over a beer, I would think Duncan might ask Pop what the heck he was thinking.

I said it back then and I will said it now once again... Popovich threw away that game on purpose and prolly was getting money under tha table for it.
