Lakers made their entire team available outside of Lebron and some picks. But Pelicans wanted 8 draft picks, so Magic has pulled out.

And here I thought the Lakers had the upper hand.

Pelicans could have fleeced them by taking all their young players and 2 picks. Oh wait that was actually on the table.

Pelicans.

I'm not sure what game the Pelicans are playing here. Are they really going to get a better deal in the summer, given AD's short list of teams he will resign with?

Id rather get no one than have to rebuild with Lonzo and Ingram

I think teams should call Davis/Paul's bluff, and trade for him. If he still wants to sign with a 36-year old LeBron in 2020, so be it.

By the way Magic is an idiot for not accepting the 6 1st rounders offer. You have AD, Bron, and whoever else we get in free agency.... Every year the Lakers will be drafting late, and the Pelicans know that. Its AD + Lebron of course they are going to dominate :facepalm

Props to the Pelicans management for trying to get some actual value from the lakers. Lakers shit core and two late first rounders isnt value by ANY MEANS

Exactly. There we so many morons who kept insisting that there was Rich Paul/LeBron tampering when clearly there wasn't.

Ok fine, come playoffs I better not see your dumb ass saying "Why does LeBron need more help!?" or "Why didn't LeBron make the Finals again?!" then.

You want them to not listen to the Celtics' offer you have to blow them away. Why should the Pelicans be in a hurry? They are being asked to buy into a package featuring a player they really don't even want with a loudmouth daddy already making public trade demands before they even trade for him. The same guys that are what, 6-12 without the superstar they won't have in NO? They can trade AD and suck any time they want to.

It's cool. We'll get AD for a 2nd rounder in the off-season once they realize no one else is bidding for him.

the pelicans should do a deal with a team thats actually in the playoffs and has players committed to the defensive end
