The NBA was again invited to play at the world club championship of basketball, the FIBA Intercontinental Cup........
Like numerous other times when they have been invited, the NBA chickened out. Too afraid to send the NBA champions to the tournament, yet again.
Even though at this time EuroLeague teams are banned from the tournament (because FIBA is in a war with them over who controls European club basketball) - even with the EuroLeague champions not allowed, the NBA STILL chickened out, and instead sent the G-League champions...pathetic.
