That's the same amount as was scored in the previous three seasons!

This is the highest scoring season so far since 84/85 with teams averaging 110.5 per game.

The offensive rating is 109.8, the best ever, while the pace of 100 is the fastest since 88/89.

It was only the early 2010s when teams were averaging under 100 ppg and the pace was in the low 90s.

The Warriors are average 118.7 per game. That would have been middle of the pack in the 61/62 season, which was the highest scoring season ever.

The Warriors have five 140+ games this season. Boston had 8 in 61/62 over 81 games.

offenses got better, offensive talent over the league eez so much better than ever before!!!

Been watching less and less NBA this year. Awful. I hope the ratings tank and the alien gets replaced by someone competent.

Unfortunately this type of ball attracts the casuals who HEAVILY outnumber the purists. They don't give a **** about the purists, the just want to make money which is what the casuals bring in. There's a reason ESPN and NBA are pushing this Bran nonsense down our throats, the casuals eat it up because they don't actually understand basketball and just see the boxscores and think they know wtf they're talking about.

I'm a defender first IRL and I get absolutely furious watching how the whistles get blown now. You are literally not allowed to play a lick of defense.

It's not like back in the day when teams would literally run back and forth getting shots up. That was at least entertaining. The three point chuck fest makes me nauseous.
