Lol I can't believe Ainge of all people has become so infatuated with one player.

But then again it's Kyrie Muthafking Irving. One of the best combinations in history of extremely clutch + handles + transcendent finishing ability don't grow on trees

Assuming he couldn't get Dame Lillaird or some other elite pg (no, not Lowry) I agree with rolling the dice on Irving. Irving is a go-to scorer in the clutch, maybe the best point in the league at getting a basket with the game on the line. Brooklyn/NY has the appeal of home and can't be disregarded but Irving would have to accept less money and a worse team at either destination.
