EXPLAIN THAT..
He lost Odom but his team went something like 6-9 when Kobe missed games that season.. Kobe was in his prime and let his team go 2-17..
KOBE HAD THE LEAST IMPACT OF ANY TOP 20 PLAYER OF ALL TIME :oldlol:

rudy T had a winning record before injuries to his top 2 guys and his own personal health got in the way of a successful season
hamblen took over and basically tanked the rest of the way for them to get bynum
the proof of their tanking aspirations was in the fact that they had a playoff appearance a year later after losing caron butler

it was a tank job... kobe averaged 25ppg on only 18 shots during those 19 games
prior to that for the year kobe averaged 29ppg on 21 shots a game
its obvious the effort wasn't there cause management wanted that top 5-8 pick

2-17 finish to miss the playoffs.
34 wins for the season.
43%fg for the season
:oldlol: talk about an epic failure:oldlol:

its not how you start it anyways. its how you finish it. Kobe during the wild wild west era = 65 wins
Lebron in the weak east = 66. That impact of the goat. LOL
Maybe if you guys start learning the game instead of reading box scores, you guys will understand why kobe is respected by the ones who played the game.

Kobe never produced when the chips were down, ever.
Awful shooting record in game 7s and giving up on his team etc.
His "great" moments were what? 81 points against one of the worst teams ever and 60 points on 50 shots in a dead rubber? Give me a break :facepalm

Because he is the least impactful max player of all time.

What were Duncan's "great" moments? :lol A 20 point game in the finals against a pitiful Nets team? Losing finals MVP to roleplayers like Tony Parker and 21 year old Kawhi? Missing a point blank, wide open lay-up in game 7 of the 2013 finals which cost the Spurs a title?

lebrons averaging 27/9/7 on 52% this season ( better than kobes 27/6/6 on 43%fg's in 2005 )
he has a more talented roster than kobe had in 2005
lebrons missed only 1 more game than kobe did
whats lebrons excuse?
:lol
especially after the clippers gift wrapped them the 8th seed

injury plagued seasons don't really count as a prime year since kobe couldn't perform at the level he was capable of
like i said. he brought a worse team to the playoffs a year later

What do you mean Kobe was WAY WORSE before the injury than after the injury..
He was so bad that he asked Rudy for the TRIANGLE because he couldnt deal without it.. Kobe shot 40 percent before the injury and 46 PERCENT AFTER THE INJURY ... His defense was horrible the entire season though..
Kobe led the LAKERS TO A 2-17 RECORD TO FINISH THE SEASON.. :lol :oldlol:

honestly I'm sick of ragging on kobe. I already won most of the arguments proving conclusively beyond a shadow of a doubt that kobe is a snitch/chucker/rapist.

Kobe's FGA per 100 poss was his 2nd lowest from 00-13.
In fact, he only averaged 18.7 FGA and 7.2 FTA during the 2 - 17 stretch, he averaged 20.6 FGA 11.2 FTA the rest of the season. Clear evidence of tanking.
