View Full Version : the NBA all-star draft was horribly imbalanced.

Lebron won the draft just by having the first pick it was ridiculous. Then he pressured poor Giannis into making some dumb trades which were never discsused to be part of the deal before hand.

Lebron got KD, Kyrie, Kawhi and AD :facepalm

absurd draft order. Giannis should have gotten 2 picks in a roll to compensate for the first draft advantage.

The TNT crew pressured giannis to take his teammate Middleton with first pick during the bench selections

It's because LeBron is terrified of losing.

If the NBA really wants some competition in the All-Star game they should go like this:

1. LeBron - 1st pick
2. Giannis - 1st pick
3. Giannis - 2nd pick
4. LeBron - 2nd pick
5. Giannis - 3rd pick
6. LeBron - 3rd pick
7. Giannis - 4th pick
8. LeBron - 4th pick

Balance out the best player out of the 8 and the worst/least desirable player out of the 8. Too bad LeBron's posse ruined the NBA stacking the deck in the All-Star game.

Why? Should be used to it by now 3 chips in 16 seasons ... 2 of which were borderline flukes.

Yep, this is a better format. Giannis just drafted badly tho.

Who cares?? Nobody tries in the All-Star game. Who cares how good a team is when any form of competition is outlawed. Nobody tries, nobody plays defense. It's irrelevant how good the teams are when you can't actually use your abilities. :lol

The team that wins the all star game is just whoever decides they want to win. It doesnt matter who is on either team.

If 3 guys on one team decided to play for real that team wins.

Which u would have to admit would be pretty awesome if they did. I've been around along enough to see the decline in all star games

It used to be awesome. The best of the best actually going at each other for the majority of the game. Seeing which star each team would defer to in the closing minutes. Those games were actually exciting to watch.

But we live in the PC era of snowflakes where everyone is afraid to lay their ego on the line or afraid of getting injured. Sad.

Honestly, let's operate on the idea that what you're saying is factually true, who gives a shit? It's a stupid All-Star game.

:lol :blah

always been soft

always been for kids and charity

never been officiated with ounce of care

never defense, never preparation, always 50 turnovers,

it's a 4 day party and bender hosted by celebs and athletes, for themselves

the running joke about the actual game always taking place on the final night? :hammerhead:

If the league is stacking the deck this much in a game that doesn't matter. what are they willing to do when the chips are down?:confusedshrug:
