I've said this for a loooong time.

Why do small market/cold market teams keep this nonsensical dream of drafting an american star? Look at the damage Thibs did in Minnesota! Look at AD in Pelicans!

They do not want to play for you!

Small market teams need to sign europeans and other foreigners who are more loyal and not so averse to the cold.

Giannis -> Bucks
Zingis+Doncic -> Mavs
Gasol+Lin -> Raptors
Nuggets -> Jokic+Hernangomes

:applause: :applause: :applause:

I applaud Masai, Nelly and the Nugs dude.

Yet it's cold and high taxes, so few americans want to live there.

Lol this "no one wants to play in Toronto cause it's cold" narrative needs to die.

1/3rd of the teams in the NBA have the same weather as Toronto during the season.

wait...aren't millennials always complaining of record high heat from global warming, and aren't they in favor of paying high taxes for socialism?

We may have high taxes but:

-I broke my arm
-My dad had a pacemaker installed in his chest
-My grandma had multiple bypasses done and multiple arteries unclogged
-My mother was treated for epilepsy

And guess how much our bill was for all of those

You think Dallas is small or cold?

You think Dallas is small or cold?

Why else would americans not like to play there?

Is there something I'm missing?

You have to excuse me, I'm not up to date on irrational opinions and prejudice of all americans.

Dude, don't be one of those excusing socialists.

Socialists always claim health care and education, but forget to tell you about the millions of bureaucrats doing nothing but sit on their fat cake eating asses and waste your tax money.

Some sort of universal health care is something every country should have of course.

Do you even know what is meant by 'markets'? It has nothing to do with how 'cool' a city is or how many athletes want to go there. They are in reference to media markets aka television markets whose sizes are defined by the number of people in a given region getting the same local TV/radio stations. Dallas has the 5th largest media market in the country.

and how long did you wait to get all those things? months and probably years. Imagine breaking your arm and having to wait in the emergency room for hours :roll: :roll: :roll:

I was actually treated literally the second I got into the hospital.

As was my grandmother and my father.

My mother's situation took some time due to the complexity of it.

I would have suggested you guys stick to talking about basketball because you all sound stupid when trying to discuss politics, but then I remembered you all also sound stupid discussing basketball so nevermind.
