Ten games in a row.

But damn, PG3 had 47/12/10 game to go with Russ's 21/14/11! Two triple double teammates!

8/13 from three for George. Making that late season push for MVP. Not gonna happen, but damn!

PG got Russ his triple double, and Russ got PG his triple double. On a 3 pointer, no less :biggums:

Let's be honest, if Lebron did this there would be 20 threads.

Good for them. They're having a great season after many felt low on them prior to the season.

That said, these inflated stats have lost their lustre for me.

This era just seems so saturated. Perhaps I need to get over it and just learn to accept this shit.

There wouldn’t because triple doubles have become regular people don’t give a shit anymore. It’s meaningless. Any scrub could get it nowadays.

This. Case in point

'Markelle Fultz 1st Career Triple-Double'
Tomas Satoransky has a triple double. I got to be honest, I have no idea who that is.

Statistically speaking, there is going to be a few outliers if you are looking over any 3 year span. The vast majority of the triple doubles are from a relatively small group of players which is what I would expect...

With things opening up in this offensive era, it's not a huge surprise to see triple doubles become more common as well, but it's still an elite group dropping them consistently.

All the players you mentioned are outlier, although I can see Payton getting more over the years. And if you seriously don't know who Tim Frazier is, then you probably don't watch enough basketball to be calling any professional a "fool". There is only 450 roster spots in the NBA and over 7 billion people on the planet, hate on any "scrub" all you want, but just making it to the NBA is like winning the lottery, getting a triple double while your there (even as a one off) means you didn't get there by mistake IMO.

It's cool but the inflated stats due to how the game is played and rule changes makes it less impressive.
