View Full Version : Even if Lebron lost 100 Finals, some of you still wouldn't understand

I really wish one day that some of his fanboys realize that he's not who they thought he was. He never lived up to the hype in terms of actually winning and getting his team to succeed. The purpose of the game is to win.

I feel like there's no amount of Finals that Lebron could lose for his fanboys to finally get it. The guy just can't win. And if he didn't have Bosh/Wade and Love/Iriving he would literally have zero rings. But then guys like Kobe only needed Gasol and Jordan only needed Pippen. Lebron needs Bosh/Wade and Allen, Miller, Haslem, Battier, Lewis, etc... and he STILL loses.

There's no amount of losing that Lebron can do for his fanboys to get it. His style of play DOESN'T WORK.... And history has proven that. Stop trying to pull up these theories why he's failed. Lebron ball doesn't work.

The haters will always move the goalposts. When LBJ was drafted it was "well he wont be anything special." Then, after his first MVP "He wont win another." LBJ won 4.

Then it was, "But he'll never get a ring!" Then it was "he wont go back to back!" LBJ went back to back.

Then it was, "Well he cant win without Wade!" LBJ then mounts the greatest sports comeback in NBA history in 2016, 3-1.

Now it's, "he can't win in LA!" 😂

And the fact remains he has 6 NBA Finals losses. Of course he can't win in LA. Making the playoffs has already been much struggle.

What I don't get is why Lebron Stans don't even want to win.

"greatest sports comeback"

only needed the opposing team to lose it's starting C, have it's best defender suspended for a home game, have Lebron's defender injured & for Irving to hit the game-winning shot.

They never use context and don't like reality...the mental gymnastics I see here daily is outstanding.

I guess they use those same gymnastics to tell themselves they might get laid one day

Yeah, lets ignore injuries to Kyrie (LeBron's #2), Love (LeBron's #3), JR, and Shump, while propping up injuries to a 10 MPG scrub center.

Dude willed a scrub roster to the finals last year. If you don't think that was impressive then you should just stop talking ball tbh.

The guy had a 100 million contract before ever taking a dribble as a pro

You must know nothing about lebron if you think that people thought he wouldn't be anything special. He was one of the most heralded rookies ever

Yet he missed 2 straight playoffs despite having the East all-star center on his team, so he was already failing from his rookie year

Then it was, "But he'll never get a ring!"

^^^ We were correct when we said that, except we were assuming he wouldn't team-hop, like the true greats, mj/kobe/magic/bird/curry/duncan/russell..

only guys with rigid styles had to team-hop (lebron/shaq/wilt had to team-hop - their rigid styles didn't develop players or teams, so they needed to team-up

"he wont go back to back!" LBJ went back to back.

Lebron needed to team-hop to win, and also shots from ray/kyrie.. he needed BOTH to win (team-hopping and Ray/kyrie shots)

That's weak as shit and it's comical that people think it's goat worthy

He couldn't win, so he hopped onto super-teams favored to win it in year 1... And yet he STILL couldn't win in 2011, or without kyrie shot in 16'

Naturally, he eventually won a couple because it's impossible to not win with 3 Hof teammates..

Um what? Lebron was on the cover of Sports Illustrated as a high schooler, a can't miss prospect. What alternative reality were you living in when this happened? Few athletes in any sport came into their league with as much hype as Lebron.

Which 15th year players have with zero All-NBA teammates playing against 4 All-NBA players and a 6th man who was FMVP?

Shaq got swept too in the finals, does that make him a bum? yes, the same Shaq whose team beat MJ's team in 1995 East conference semis.

Have you heard of Jerry West? 1-8?
Elgin Baylor? 0-7?
Wilt with 2 and 4 losses?
these guys are bums, right?:banghead:
Magic won 5 but also lost 4.
MJ never lost the finals, that's what made him GOAT, I agree but the 1-9 without Pippen then he abandons the team and team wins 55 games?
Did Dan Marino won a superbowl?
Do you really have to keep starting threads with the same agenda?
Before you sleep, you think of something to rant about Lebron on this board, what's the agenda? you like your posts to be liked and make other haters happy?
I get it. I am Lakers fan, so I hated MJ, Duncan and now the Warriors etc. Freak I hated Tom Brady too, and yes, i hated Lebron too but I must admit, I hated them because I feel it's not fair, they are too damned good. It's really sad though that so called Kobe fanatics are getting a kick out of Lakers losing exposing themselves as fake lakers fans.
