Pau was 0-16 in playoffs till Kobe resurrected his career

He would be the Spanish Big Z if it wasn't for Kobe

Lakers and Kobe couldn't even keep their record afloat after Pau was out 30 games that year, hence their piss poor standings tied for 7-8th seed forced to play Spurs in the 1st round. Barely snuck in the playoffs in the last week

Gasol's teams have been flourishing and deep in the post season every year since he bolted from LA, (both Bulls and Spurs)

Lakers OTOH, fell off a cliff after Pau signed with Bulls. Hold both records for worse seasons in franchise history 2015 + 2016

Pau rescued the Lakers after Kobe went out for the year with a sprained ankle.

But what does this have to do with getting swept in the first round in 2013 as the first option with Dwight/Nash 2nd/3rd options minus BrickBe?

People keep deflecting and not a single person has answered the question.

Bro

Are you comparing 2009 Gasol to 2013? Should we do the same with Kobe? :hammerhead: :hammerhead:

This goes overlooked, too.

To answer the OP...

It's same reason why Shaq couldn't win a ring until Kobe was his starting teammate.

Couldn't win with Penny, Nick Anderson, Van Exel or Eddie Jones

You clowns are constantly asking why 37 year old 3 career ending injuries Kobe couldn't make the playoffs so there's no limit to your retardation

I WILL WRITE IN BIG LETTERS SO THE IDIOT SUPERDOPE WILL UNDERSTAND......

Nash played 2 games while injured in that series . Kobe, Meeks, BLAKE were all injured and didnt play in that series. Their replacements were D LEAGUE players who hadnt PLAYED much in the NBA till that point. So for games 3 and 4 all of THE LAKER GUARDS were injured and were replaced by D LEAGUE PLAYERS.. And only NASH PLAYED in games 1 and 2 along side D League gaurds while injured. Nash didnt play games 3 and 4 at home..
