...as they were 3 games below .500 with 27 games left

https://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2013/02/21/kobe-bryant-guarantees-lakers-will-make-playoffs/

Lakers were 26 - 29 at the time and went 19 - 8 the rest of the way, Kobe DELIVERED ON HIS PROMISE. Does Lebron do the same?

Heading into the ASB this year, Lakers are sitting at 28 - 29 and I've yet to hear Lebron guarantee a Playoff appearance, he looked defeated after the game.

Bad calls happen every game

you can't "rig" stuff like this

or this

Kobe literally had to play 40-48 minutes every other night and have one clutch 4th quarter after another to eek out wins, you can miss some calls and maybe have some favorable reffing at home (happens to most teams), but you can't rig 20+ games.

Part of the reason why we got so many FTs was Dwight Howard. Teams hacked him a lot because he would miss a bunch of FTs and that cost us a ton of games early in the season, Dwight's poor FT shooting allowed teams to get back into games. We were 1st in FTA all season, but also last in FT% because Dwight was garbage at them.

He had a superteam of course he wasn't going to miss the playoffs

In 05 however....

dunno what's worse

having identical record with Dwight, Nash, Odom, Artest

or

having an identical record after Lebron missed a whopping 18 games

plot twist: both

Kobe blowing an Achilles still gave the Lakers enough of a cushion to make the playoffs

you could literally do this with every lebron victory of his career

theres at least 10 bad calls in his teams favor EVERY night

he probably has 5000 free throws that could be considered a lane violation

another 5000 drives to the basket that could be considered a charge or a travel

how do you think lebron won game 7 vs indiana and boston last year

That team was injured, the line-up played maybe 12 games together, we had more D-leaguers in the starting line-up than the worst teams in the league.

Crying about Lakers injures in 2013?

You've been throwing tantrums about Lakers injuries the entire time Lebron was out this year too kiddo

You probably think the Kings series was fairly officiated too. No credibility whatsoever.

i'm on record saying it was rigged

but not for LA to win the series... it was rigged to go 7 games to make more money because they knew the finals would flop

each team benefited. the kings had some controversial wins too

but guess who shot more free throws for the series... sacramento

guess who shot 2 for 20 on threes in game 7... sacramento

guess who shot 16 for 30 on free throws in game 7... sacramento

guess who only lost by 6 and should have easly won game 7... sacramento

Sorry for introducing you to some logic.

Oh yes, the Kings series was so rigged that Webber left Horry wide open from 3 at the top of the key, or when Peja airballed a wide open corner 3 at home in a Game 7 to win it, or when they called a phantom foul on Kobe that helped send the game to OT. I guess the refs also made the Kings miss all those FTs in Game 6 that would have put the game away.

I mean, can the refs force Shaq to go 13/17 from the line? Shaq shot better from the line than the Kings in that game :lol who missed 7 FTs in a 4 pt loss.

Of course the refs helped us in Game 6, but Donaghy didn't ref every game in that series.

All these tards might enjoy exercising in the pointless back and forth making excuses left and right. But y'all know what's coming. And you won't escape it....

No amount of warped interpretations is gonna change the parallels. Bran misses the playoffs.... he'll be eaten alive in LA. Everyone's exercising caution, they have given that to Lebron, that benefit.... cause they're nice.

But this isn't Cleveland or Miami. No one's wowed by Lebron's "greatness". We have 16 rings, Kareem, Magic, Shaq and soon Kobe statues park outside Staples. You either win and put up or eat sh1t.

The question that every Brannie is avoiding like the plague:

Why did Pau get swept in the first round in 2013 as the first option with Nash/Dwight as 2nd/3rd options?

Funny thing is that Kobe didnt get them to the PLAYOFFS.. They were in 9th until they came back and beat GSW and won that last two games.. MEANWHILE Harden got to the playoffs with CHANDLER PARSONS as his second option AND JEREMY LIN AS HIS THIRD..
