Fortunately for LeBran he has 6 spots out of a total 10 to make All-NBA 1st or 2nd teams.. 60% chance if he plays adequately.. whereas in a guard dominated league a Steph Curry or Kyrie have a 40% chance. How much help/opportunities does he need? No excuses.


Furthermore, if he doesn't make 1st or 2nd, I'd rather him make the 3rd team than not make the 3rd team.. It's like a bronze medal for All-Time greats. :lol


Wouldn't shock me if the league decided to make All-NBA positionless to cater the posse in the not too distant future.. gotta protect LeBran legacy at all cost.. see All-Star game format after 4 straight and like 12 out of 16 year stretch of West dominance.

27/8/3 1.9 stls 0.4 blks 26.1 PER .230 WS/48 for Kawhi

And the Raptors are 13 - 3 without him while the Pelicans are 4 - 10 without AD.

There's a strong case for Davis over Kawhi if we're looking at stats and how teams have done without them. Replace the two and the Raptors are still successful and the Pelicans are still average.

All-NBA is about individual performance, and AD has played better on both offense and defense than Kawhi. What more do you want ?

AD's season is over. his reputation is ruined. the pelicans don't have a farts chance in the wind at making the playoffs and he's gonna probably average between 6-10ppg the rest of the way

He was a game over 0.500 when he played, regardless of if it is a tough West or they still suck without him you aren't getting second or first team All-NBA when you miss a third of the season and when you do play you go 0.500. I love LeBron, second greatest player ever but we can't give him All-NBA everyear based on history like we did for Kobe

playing 50 something games and missing the playoffs disqualifies you from making 1st/2nd team


kobe had a great average in 2005 and got knocked down to 3rd team for the very same reasons... so don't be surprised when it happens to lebron

Gobert has more offensive and defensive win shares. How are they basically the same? Rudy is one of the most impactful offensive and defensive players in the league and the main reason Utah isn't as bad as the Wolves. Utah has been a horrible team for more than 4 years without Gobert. Rudy gets dunks because of his screens and length despite the lack of spacing because of Rubio, Exum, Favors etc. Their whole offense revolves around Rudy. There's no doubt who has a better overall impact. When Towns can carry a team like Rudy he will get credit. Butler carried them last year not Towns
