War over 5G. Big cities fighting Trump on quest to become first 5G nation

The usual suspects LA, NYC, Bay Area etc.

Local municipalities have control over tower/antenna installation, maintenance and permits which will slow down 5G being implemented if they charge huge fees and/or delay permit approval, so Trump is capping the amount cities can charge for installation and maintenance permits, at the same time limiting the maximum amount of time cities have to approve new antennas and towers.

Things should get interesting.

Well life expectancy is at an all time high as well.

So the fact that other things dont kill us before we can get cancer (as happened more frequently in earlier periods of humanity) I would think makes the appearance of the cancer rate more stark.

That’s not to say radiation from our tech equipment doesnt impact it as well. I have no idea if it does. Seems like a hard thing to quantify with certainty tho.

Cancer rates are up because an average person lives longer than say 50-60yrs ago. Means more chances for cancer as time passes.

As for added microwaves/etc due to phones.. No, we should be okay. There was a study last year to not keep cellphones touching your body, but you should be safe if you have thick secure cover for anyone or if it's in purse for ladies. We also already have been getting bombarded by such waves since we have existed (radiowaves/other waves exist naturally).

As far as 5G, I think it is what it is. Maybe some people get cancer, but that’s the price we pay for fast internet. Im not a huge techie myself and I personally couldnt care less about “5G” but this is life in the 21st century. There’s no avoiding it.
