"Former Lakers forward Michael Beasley, who was waived by the Clippers earlier this month after a trade from the Lakers, has found a new basketball home.

In China.

ESPN reports the 6-9 forward is finalizing a deal with Guangdong of the Chinese Basketball Association. The short-term deal, for the final two months of the CBA season, will reportedly involve "significant cash."

It's the latest unexpected turn in a year that has been anything but routine for Beasley, 30. He earned viral attention in January when he tried to check into a Lakers game while wearing his practice shorts.

I'm a little sad that this is probably the last of Michael Beasley hanging around the league and proving time and time again that he can score.

Last few seasons been very efficient above 50% FG and shooting the 3 above 40%. Just can't to seem to crack into a regular rotation.

Will average 40 in China and sign with a contender.

MB was no BM for the Bucks , he did real well , off the bench , and solidified their bench two years ago... I was sad he left ...

He will be back , when he makes lots of noise in China.

Don't worry, he'll play out the remainder of this season in China and someone will give him a contract in the offseason. This is like his what, 3rd time playing in China? :lol
