What if I replaced Durant with Blake, who's shooting about the same from 3, moved Simmons back to PG and replaced Westbrook with some other SF who can't shoot form distance?

The bad 3PT shooting team gets wrecked mainly because Derozan isn't actually a star player, and Westbrook/Simmons are a horrendous fit next to each other but especially Gianns/Embiid. Giannis/Embiid are the only two true superstar players in that group but it's about as bad of a fit for them from PG-SF as it gets ITO "star" teammates.
