Lebron. He splits the sub 50 IQ guys (stans) and the >100 IQ guys (critics) into two camps

Has to be King James. Even the people who acknowledge he's the best in the game hate the way he plays. Step back threes and foul shots. But he keeps doing it. The way the refs call the game today, he's the best. Other people just hate watching him so much they rank him outside the top 5 or even lower. The answer has to be Harden.

A lot of people are saying LeBron, but the truth is, he's not very polarizing in today's game. Most people acknowledge he's been the best or one of the best for most of his career. The only polarizing thing about him is that some very young ignorant people think this era of basketball is a good one and one where it's tougher to win than previous eras. It's much easier to win (just pick your teammates) and much easier to rack up stats. And people who have LeBron as a clear cut top 5 or better, were mostly too young to have seen Shaq in his prime, nevermind Jordan, Magic, Bird, etc.
