All of those are Nike? And they're all relatively recent as in the past 10 years?

Given that seems to be the case, it seems very likely that Nike is adopting the huge corporation 'hell bent on increasing profits at all costs model that so many huge corporations do' mentality...

I would be amazed if they hadn't started skimping on a certain manufacturing aspect to their shoes for this to keep occurring.

Now granted, it seems like it happens way more often than it does because each one stands out and we're talking about thousands if not millions of playing hours with only 4 or 5 NBA incidents... but still... I don't ever remember this being an issue when I was growing up. A brand new shoe should literally never do that. A 1 in 10,000 chance is unacceptable. And I'm guessing a lot if not most of these guys use new shoes every single game. So it's not like they're just flat out worn out shoes that finally gave way... they're new products that are failing upon initial use.

They changed something regarding how they put their shoes together.

They just use every game not just some new nike sneakers every game, they use special basketball sneakers, which are supposed to be more sturdy and more durable. But they are not. This is unacceptable. If these shoes tear during the game the first time they wear them, imagine the quality of sneakers sold to ordinary people in stores? It feels like Nike is taking money not for the quality of its products but for the brand name. I don't use this company's shoes anymore. I found better stuff at forstep style (https://www.forstepstyle.com) a long time ago.

They're definitely cheaper. The last 4 jordan retro i bought to play in i had to return within 1 month.

I have known Nike since childhood. I remember them being something popular and prestigious. Nowadays, you can see them everywhere you go because of the too much hype and marketing Nike has created for the past 10 years by using the Internet. Because of that, their shoes have lost their quality for huge profits. Still, some models have maintained their high-quality status.
