MJ was honestly the most overrated defender in history. Fooled low IQ individuals like 3Ball with flashy steals and blocks but had horrendous fundamentals and awareness and by the time Pippen came around he just gambled in the passing lanes while Pippen did all the real work.

One thing i feel like is very oft overlooked is MJ's defense...because his offense was so iconic and GOAT it overshadowed it.


Can you imagine how mad jordan would be if somebody was dropping 35 ppg on 70TS right on his head? he'd probably kill somebody.

Of course Jordan had great defense, he was guarding a few stars a year. PG doesn't get the rest MJ did guarding a bunch of Mike Gminskis a game after he was guarding Reggie Miller or Mitch Richmond. Nowadays, there is a really good perimeter on every team. No vacations :oldlol:

Anyways, this is an offense thread. PG can create and come off screens, Russ is more than happy finding him. He's even giving up the ball to him at end of games, yesterday not included :oldlol: PG is nearing KD-level in his offensive repertoire. Teaming PG up with Russ was good for both them, PG doesn't have to worry about getting everyone else touches, he can do what he does best. And he is an MVP level player :bowdown:
