Some squeezed lemon (or alternatively wine vinegar), a little bit of olive oil and salt.

Ranch is everywhere now, and I've gotten tired of it. Some of its variants, like jalapeno ranch or chipotle ranch, still give my tastebuds a zing, but plain 'ol ranch is bland and boring.

If you're ever in St Louis, there's a restaurant there called Twisted Ranch that puts ranch and it's variants on damn near everything they serve.

ranch is cool on bbq wings, if you put it on salad you're a dumbass.
