Meanwhile the problem for MJ stans is he won in a MUCH weaker/watered down era. So all they can really do is this

3 finals MVP's from 3 fraudulent colluded big 3 seasons. 2 of which that had finals saving bail out shots, 1 from a fake lockout shortened season and i don't even need to bring out the league collusion with adam silver to suspend the other teams MVP at the time

kobe has 5 rings legit rings and saved shaq in 2000 game 7 vs portland leading the lakers in points, rebounds, assists and blocks. then again saving shaq in game 4 of the finals after he fouled out. had they lost that game they would have been down 3-2 going into game 6 since they also lost game 5

we all know how kobe dismantled portland/sacramento/sanantonio the next 2 seasons.. its the only reason shaq was able to rig his finals mvps by hogging vs inferior competition

then he went on to win 2 more titles without shaq to completely solidify his other 3 while shaqs only success was a 3rd option role player ring behind antoine walker while riding the bench behind alonzo mourning throughout the finals in 4th quarters while the refs rigged wade to the line 20 games a night to give him the most fraudulent title in league history behind only 2016 lebron

all kobe needed was a boarderline allstar 18ppg wingman... the 5th lowest rated 2nd option in title history behind only what bill walton, dennis johnson, rick barry and hakeem olajuwon had as sidekicks

and kobe did it twice ... he's the only guy in history with multiple titles without a top 75 all time sidekick

kobe bryant is the most skilled player of all time and cemented in the top 5-10 all time. and lebron is a total fraud falling faster than OP on a steep hill with no brakes

Finals MVPs is the only thing that matters now?

Lebron Playoff PPG in championship runs

2012 - 30 ppg
2013 & 2016 - 26 ppg

Kobe Playoff PPG in championship runs

2001 - 29 ppg
2002 - 27 ppg
2009 - 30 ppg
2010 - 29 ppg

Lebron's 2013 & 2016 championship runs are on par with two of Kobe's with Shaq, and we're comparing prime Lebron to 22 & 23 y.o Kobe. Lebron averaged 25 ppg on 42%FG at age 22 when he made the Finals vs Kobe's 29 ppg on 47%FG in the handcheck era at the same age.

And the problem for the 3-6 mafia is 3 rings, 2 of which were admittedly fluky, one which came in a lockout shortened season ... and the fact he's not respected by peers and legends like Kobe. And he's shunned by his hero and superior in Jordan unlike younger brother Kobe.

Because he took more attempts & FT's per game :confusedshrug:

Maybe it has something to do with Lebron being a poor shooter outside the paint? Sure, he's had a few decent years at shooting the 3 at a low rate for today's standards, but he's mostly been a terrible shooter for his career and that flaw was exposed for at least 5 straight Playoff runs (2007-11). Heck, he was even terrible outside the paint in 2012 (apart from that one game against Boston) and the Spurs literally left him wide open on his jumpshots which shut him down for half the series in the 2013 Finals.

Lebron's simply not as good as Kobe at scoring, he can exploit the defenses in today's era, but he didn't average 30+ppg in a single Finals until he started going up against the Warriors in this 3PT/no defense era and still has yet to average over 30 ppg in a Finals series that he won.

Ray Allen was the main reason they won in 2013 and Kyrie's shot / Green suspension was the main reason for 2016, otherwise he would be 1 - 9 despite the constant colluding that gives LeBron an unfair advantage in winning rings... and yet he still only has 3 rings...

I'll give him props for 2012, that's still 1 less than Kobe who had a worse supporting cast when he won his 2 finals MVPs and whose contributions on the first 3 titles was basically 1 finals MVP in its own right, at minimum.

That was easy, nice try m8

Not only that, Lebron has won 2 double-MVPs(MVP + FMVP) in his career. Every top 10 greatest player in NBA history has done that, except Bill Russell and Wilt Chamberlain when the FMVP wasnt a thing until their late career:

MJ: 4(1991, 1992, 1996, 1998)
Lebron: 2(2012, 2013)
Bird: 2(1984, 1986)
Magic: 1(1987)
Kareem: 1(1971)
Duncan: 1(2003)
Shaq: 1(2000)
Hakeem: 1(1994)

This is the reason why Kobe is not a top 10 player of all time, 'cause he doesnt have such a dominant season of his own. This implies that Kobe was never the clear cut best player in any season.

Kobe was the best player only in 2008, and even this was questionable since CP3 came close(hence why its not clear cut). In 2009 it was a toss up between him and Lebron, but the latter had a slight edge. Other than these 2 years, not even close.

To summarize, Kobe is just not a dominant player, and theres a good reason why hes the 12th greatest player of all time, never ever a top 10.
