1962 Wilt?

My first though would be Wilt, he's probably come the closest to having a near perfect season.

Last year LeBron?

Had like 5 at best.

That and '62 Wilt is probably the closest to perfection you're ever going to get.

If you value defense LeBron had many bad games last year.

Bad game is all relative...

There's probably DOZENS of all-time great seasons by a variety of players where even their absolute worst games would be considered a good solid game by 90-95% of the rest of the league at that time

Wilt was cited - I bet his worst games of 62 he still impacted highlyI recall a lowest scoring night of 26 points - Kblaze mentioned efficiency from the field for some - yet still I bet he was a terror on rebounds and/or defense so - "bad"? If you go by his own bar those weren't great games.

Red Aurbach in one interview was asked why Larry Bird played bad in some playoff game in the early 1980's and Red said to the interviewer that he played a good game it just wasn't a usual Larry Bird game like everyone had come to expect. I think that's kind of how great players play. They raise the bar. Do we hold them to their own standard they set?

This "bad game" is kind of an abstract thought I've seen my own teammates on my rec teams have self proclaimed "bad games" and I'm thinking ...dude you got 4 points sure but... 17 rebounds and a couple dimes who cares if the shots weren't falling there's a lot happening on a floor where impact can be made

So I basically have no answer for this :confusedshrug:
