His reign is over as the NBA's best.

Giannis, Harden, George, Durant, Kawhi and Curry have all been better players than him this season.

He hasn't really been consensus #1 since 2015ish but now there's absolutely no argument.

He hasn't been the best player in the league for about 3.5 years.

I mean, I've gotten into this before... it depends on what you mean by best.

If by best you mean able to sustain it for an entire full regular season? That's my definition... and the answer has been Curry for that entire time.

If by best you mean able to put it on for one night or for the playoffs? Yeah, it's been LeBron... but you can't just not produce during the regular season and still get to keep the title.

Curry has been the world's best for like 3.5 years now.

And no historically weak East to prop up his stats, record and playoffs runs.

LeWest is the real version.

It's alright Bron fans, no one beats father time. He had an amazing run. But yeah, right now, he is not even helping his team win games, let alone be in the argument for best in the game.

He hasn't been the last 5 years or more. Since 2013 in the regular season.

That fool said he was better then KD and Curry combined. Like what games is he watching? :oldlol:

The problem is that casuals say he is obviously still the best. I'm like uhhhh do you watch the NBA or just sportscenter?

Casuals always say look how he gets to the Finals every year and how no one else can do that even in the East :facepalm

He doesn't actually watch games. His arguments are literally always entirely box score stats based

Yeah, 2013 was really the last year in which LeBron was head in shoulders above everyone else.

It is so disrespectful to KD and Steph. Those guys are at or very close to their peaks.

And you really think 34 year old LeBron is better then them both combined?

GTFO.

I'd put Jokic in that list too

Lebron was still playing up there at the top up until his injury.. Is he KD and Curry ? He isnt as good as either one of them right now..

As for KD, THE GSWarriors struggle even with Green and Klay by KD's side when Curry is out of the lineup.. So its not him either.. I would have to say THE BEST player is Curry up until the Finals and the tougher east coast defenses on players that are purely skill based..

He hasn't been the best in the league since 2013 and even that year was kinda weak with a 34 year old Kobe being top 3 and 36 year old Duncan being top 5-10. Durant was faaar from being at his best as well and that was his only other competition, of course Durant surpassed him in 2014 but he wasn't there yet in 2013.

There's more competition up top nowadays, LeBron at his current stage is fringe top 10 at the absolute best

Imagine saying this with a straight face meanwhile Szn 17 Bron steps up with 26-11-8 on 47%

Every other person that could challenge him besides Kawhi has a very serious mostly unfixable weakness, so 'Bron's still the best.

After how kawhi proved how superior his style is to bron. Theres no doubt anymore in my mind that he was never the best player in this league. Or else he wouldnt be insecure and forming superteams if he is.
