The haters want to so badly have this man fail. In the grand scheme..this season was a failure for playoff goals but wont hamper what hes done. Most nba analysts said he came to LA to brand and be competitive enough in his Las 2 3 years.

As far as the contract... no one will call him out because Kobe and any all time great takes that legacy contract. Lebron rarely takes 3 4 year deals so for him to take that deal with a player option for 45M was about getting what he deserved as an all time great.

He still can impact the game hes just a level of expectations where hes judged on going deep in playoffs. Expectations will lower. Dude is still a top 10 player.
