if kobe came back and brought this team to the playoffs it would be like another 60 point send off

it would give everyone a passion to play defense IMO

he wouldn't even have to play a lot. just 15-20 minutes... 5 minutes each quarter would do

kobe would toughen that team up immediately... he'd be in everyones ear instead of bitching to the media like lepassive aggressive

It's the only chance the Lakers have of making the Playoffs this season.

These are Kobe's last 3 years Worst 3 years for a max guy ever? 21.67 wins for 3 years :lol :lol

Anything else? The Lakers got BETTER when Kobe left after 2016. They actually had a +9 win total in 2017 when Kobe retired

nah I'm sick of watching other players bounce his head off the floor time to watch some new scrubs get wrecked.

Imagine comparing one player's single-season to the career-high bests of another player's and still being better than them in every single category.

And yet, people are still trying to twist this.

It's ova.

Kobe was the worse defender on the Lakers team in 2013 before the big injury .. Yes even worse than Nash.. And you want him to help a team that cannot defend.. :oldlol:

He could help with the shortage of bench scorers.. Magic gave away the Lakers two best bench scorers in Beasley and Zubac for lint..

He's been gone for like 3 years now and will definitely be rusty, but he probably healthier now than when he played so that would help him once the rust goes away. I also think he'll embrace a lesser role knowing his career and legacy are much set but this scenario will never happen so who the hell knows

He'd be the best player on the team if we're being honest, not if he plays like he did in 2016 of course but assuming the above that he's healed up and isn't too rusty. Definitely the highest basketball IQ on the team.

Kobe was trash since pretty much 2011. If he comes out of retirement, he wouldn't make a WNBA team, let alone an NBA team.

However, current Brick would've been an MVP in the '60's though.
