I honestly didn't know about this until a reporter who used to work in Miami during that time, Jorge Sedano, mentioned it several times these last few months (he recently got a radio show in LA). LeBron wanted him gone and Riley said no. He liked Spoelstra and believed in him and didn't bend to LeBron's will. Alpha. :lol

I wonder if Lebron would have stayed with the Heat had he had the same level of, shall we say influence, that he had in Cleveland or now in LA. Wade looked done at the end on the 2014 finals but as we saw, he pretty much bounced back and still could have contributed to another Heat run up to 2016 had they retooled on the fly and incorporated the likes of Dragic and Whiteside into the mix( taking into account that Bosh's health removes him from the equation regardless).

We knew this. His bitch ass passive aggressive shoulder bump. As much as his paid Stans want to sweep his coach killing ways under the rug.
