they are absolute trash in the half court. it's actually agonizing to watch Giannis and Bran on the court at the same time in the 4th quarter, both players completely impotent and neutralized in the half court

Giannis suffering from a knee issue, he sat out against the bulls and was on minutes restriction against the kings. He doesn't usually play like this, he's hurt and needs to be shut the **** down

I like how you try to lump in Giannis (a guy that hasn't proven a thing in his career) with LeBron (consensus best player in the league since 2010/3x FMVP)
Thanks for the laugh :oldlol:

Lebron def doesnt have blast off on jumpers .. He can only go up when he gets a running start and that isnt surprising since he was injured and he has 56k minutes on those legs..

OP has to be trolling, LeBron had some years where he had a weak argument for best player but they were there :facepalm
Giannis can be, maybe not this year but it's coming soon barring anything crazy happening.

Lebron is a shit iso scorer
The stats have proven that.. he's 23rd in pull-up jumpshooting PPG (the most-used shot in the clutch), and his efg on pull-ups is outside the top 75..
https://stats.nba.com/players/pullup/?sort=PULL_UP_PTS&dir=1
Skilled pure scorers (curry, pg13, Durant and harden) are tops in pull-ups
Whereas Lebron is mechanical in the half court.. not a pure scorer

if you have low standards then yeah lebron has proven himself but for us. Winning with superteams, refs and 2 bailout shots hasnt proven anything yet.

I agree with OP. Its not worth building around a player who cant carry your team when you need it the most. I dont care what your stats are, the primary role of the star player is to carry your team and if you cant do it, then im not building around you. Do you think lebron would form superteams if he really is that good? Do you think he needs super stacked team if he can carry a team?

So bizarre you use that statistic, when they have a clutch statistic.
The one where LeBron has been top 5 in 7 out of the last 10 years.
Just bizarre you didn't use that stat. Almost like you have a narrative you're trying to push.

Your crazy if you wouldn't build around Greek or Bron. Greeks is gonna be the best player in the world next year if not this year. He's gonna end up with multiple chips and LeBron already has multiple chips. Not everyone can get get 5 or 6 rings. 3 or 4 chips is still pretty good.

best player for me is not the player with the best stats but the most effective player. And if you cant carry a team when the team needs you the most, youre not effective no matter how good your stats are. And lebron needs lots of superstars and bailouts/refs to win. Drafting 2 superstars is already hard enough then you still need bailouts to win. No thanks, but im not building around him. Stats means nothing if youre hard to build. When players have to adjust around you while not filling the most difficult role which is crunch time player. Thats just too much. Youll be having a difficult time building around that.

Its crazy how LeBron is such a shitty player with no offensive moves and yet is top 5 all time in scoring atm and will be passing Jordan for #4 shortly:eek:.

So bizarre you use that statistic, when NBA.com has a clutch statistic.
I made an entire thread using NBA.com's clutch stat, and it showed MJ was significantly better in 97/98 than lebron from 09-19' - but the mods deleted it in their mass deletion (it's the first thread listed):
https://www.google.com/search?q=nba+clutch+stats+for+mj+97+and+98+3ball+i nsidehoops&oq=nba+clutch+stats+for+mj+97+and+98+3ball+insideh oops&aqs=chrome..69i57.26874j0j4&client=ms-android-mpcs-us-revc&sourceid=chrome-mobile&ie=UTF-8
I post the facts, including many NBA.com stat threads but you guys ignore them and say I'm "pushing a narrative".. No fool - MJ was factually more clutch than Lebron, as the stats showed

Yea definitely but I also believe Giannis will develop a 3 point shot and be better than Lebron.
