This year we talk a lot about how bad Brons defense is and look what we could find LBJ = 107 DefRtg but also Payton = 106 DefRtg career

So um does this mean Payton was overrated since he averages Lebrons worst def year?

Payton has a defensive share rating of 102 in 95-96 though.

Michael at age 34-35 (older than Lebron) had DRtg of 100.
At age FORTY it was 103. One one knee.
Lebron was 109 last year. At age 32-33.

Defensive Rating :lol

Eh, it's useful when looking at team defense but not so with individual. It's very dependent on position, box score defensive stat (which isn't always the best indicator of defense), and it's just a very noisy stat

Michael Jordan fans 'round the world are in distress :rant

Could you believe that bagging on LeBron is bagging on the guy that shut Jordan down?

Gary's average is equal to LeBron's "worst defensive year ever"

These days we cannot make these stories up, the history speaks for itself

I'll admit it isn't the best stat to use when looking at individual defense but it is pretty damn good overall. If you scour the ratings for DPOY in most cases they have the lowest DRtg that year. I recall seeing Draymond and Kawhi with super low ratings and they won DPOY those years.
