He's absolutely right, there's only been 3 modern players to actually impact how your average day ballers playing the game: MJ, Kobe, and Curry

Everyone wants to be like MJ

Everyone yells Kobe when hoisting up a tough shot

Everyone taking pull up 3s nowdays like Steph

Lebron's influence on the game is limited to boxscore readers

LeBron created business opportunities for his friends and peers. He has also given a voice to the voiceless, with his uninterrupted series. There's also the shop where he brings athletes, entertainers, together to discuss about how they can make the world a better place. LeBron is bigger than basketball.

Also it's not Lebron's fault that his game is tougher to emulate compared to the other 3.

You don't see 6'8 250+ pounds running and passing the ball like guards very often.

You said everyone wants to be like MJ. That's exactly the definition of who "Kobe Byant" is or was viewed his entire carer. A botched copy of MJ.

He's not loved by fans as much as he should be. He's the most down to Earth superstar the league's had, probably ever. He's also not some athletic, pituitary gland condition having overgrown freak. If you met him the only thing you'd say was he's "slightly tall". He's also the most likeable star by a mile in the league.

Daryl Morey is responsible for all the threes in the NBA right now. Steph fans like to pretend like it was Steph and the warriors that's responsible for it but it's just not true.

Steph has definitely popularized with the younger fans though and is definitely responsible for why alot of kids play the way they do. I'm not sure this is a good influence though. It works for Steph because he's pretty much an alien when it comes to shooting. For anyone else though the shots he takes are just bad shots. So you have all these kids that just want to put up ridiculous shots, play little defence and try to make lazy careless passes.

How is this influencing the game in a positive way?
