How can Julius Randle and Lopez contribute to more wins? :(

He certainly passed the 17 win mark from the last time we've seen Kobe in a Lakers uniform.

AirTupac

I guess comparing yourself to an old retired Kobe with a ruptured achilles is a good argument of why LeBron is a good player rn ? But why is he struggling to get more wins than a 19 year old Zo, 20 year old Ingram, Julius and Lopez led team? :( :( :(

Yes. thats the "kobe handicap" needed to make a fair comparison :oldlol:

I dont think they realize that makes LeBron look even more cringy. Itd be a good argument if lets say perhaps a healthy 34 year old Kobe had 17 wins but..... he led them to the playoffs and guaranteed they make playoffs when they were 25-31 that season :oldlol:

As a Lebron fan I hope not. Preserving the perfect first round playoff series record and maximising our lotto balls for another trade chip should be the priority.

Keep racking up those numbers goat, men lie women lie stats dont lie. We all know the Lakers are a top 4 seed if bron didnt get hurt.

Lakers lost to Suns, Knicks, AD-less Pelicans and Hawks with healthy Lebron tho.... :( :( :(

3 of those losses were before playoff mode was activated. Averages for the 4 losses 28.9 ppg 9.5 rpg 8.8 apg on 60% ts and vorp of 14

Playoff mode LeBron has been a sore disappointment. Lost to tanking Suns and Hawks :facepalm

Ofcourse. They don't call him mr 3/9 for nothing. When his back is against the wall, he wins a third of his games. Hence 6 of the 18 remaining games:lol

Was Kobe playing with the #2 draft pick when he won 17? LeBron playing with the #2 draft pick and may not win 35.

Laker fans and LA natives have the best view, so the verdict is in their hands

And they prefer kobe.... by a mile.... So he's better

:confusedshrug:

He's better for all the reasons everyone always says, and a few more that are less talked about (his scoring versatility fit with more player types, needed less help to win, allowed a system and the best brand of ball/teams)

AirTupac
03-10-2019, 02:14 AM
Yep. I actually gave LeBron a chance. He's failed me miserably.

So let me get this straight, there is an actual possibility that LeBron is going to have a NEGATIVE impact in wins upon joining a new team? Isn’t Jordan’s immediate impact on wins one of Simons main talking points? Yikes.

I can see 36-38 wins tbh but I'm expecting 34 or 35 wins

And yet a similar Lakers squad won 35 the previous season despite not having the "best player in the world" on their team :wtf:

AirTupac
03-23-2019, 09:29 AM
We're going to have to go 50% on our last 10 games to surpass last season's total, which is looking highly unlikely at this point Call me crazy, but a slight incremental improvement over last season would have had us become a sub-.500 team that may have been competitive for the 8th seed. Instead, we are officially eliminated from the playoffs with over 10% of the season remaining.  LEGOAT IMPACT

25 - 27 with LeBron :wtf:

Should look worse but they're counting the Warriors game where he only played like half the game and the Lakers had a rare great game. Also missed a handful of near certain losses as well, this team would be lucky to win 37+ games with LeBron playing all 82 games
