as a player

Mitch Richmond is one, but I can't think of too many others

Nah, I guarantee there's a good amount of them. Just from the HOF classes since Richmond made it 5 years ago, Yao, Dikembe & Jo Jo White were all voted in, and they never finished top 10 in MVP voting

Some of Bill Russell's HoF teammates fit this. K.C. Jones never even made an all star team and is in the HoF.

Kind of surprised that Dikembe didn't graze 10th, but then again, he did turn up the intensity in the playoffs.

Kevin Love and Chris Bosh finished 6th and 7th respectively in MVP shares early in their careers.

You're right... pau never even received a single share or vote his entire career and will be HOF.

Reggie Miller

His only MVP votes came in 1998 and 2000 where he was placed #16 and #13 respectively

I was gonna say him but I thought he might've finished 10th at least once during the late 90's or 2000. Good find.

Here's the list of career MVP shares

https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/nba_mvp_shares.html

If you look towards the bottom, anyone you see with a star for HOF more than likely never finished top 10 in MVP voting in their career
