View Full Version : I never was that convinced that Lebron would make the playoffs this year

This is the West. It's not always super easy to just make the playoffs. You actually have to play hard on both ends to try to get in. Sometimes even teams above 500 don't make the playoffs. The Warriors in 08 won 48 games with Baron Davis and didn't make the playoffs. Can you imagine Lebron trying to make the playoffs during those years in the West? If James played in the West his whole career, who knows how many times he'd actually make the playoffs.

I'm not sure why he joined the Lakers. And Space Jam 2 doesn't make sense. Starring a guy who can't make the playoffs?

Lebron always had high seeds in the playoffs (longer runs)...

Otoh, MJ carried a bunch of lottery teams to 8 seeds (which lebron failed to do in 04', 05', and 19'), and therefore had shorter runs overall when you include these low seeded/short runs..

but when both MJ and lebron had high seeds, mj blows lebron away. - only MJ never lost with a 1 or 2 seed, while lebron lost 5 times.
