Is Lebron the worst defender in the league?

This is an honest question. Either he doesn’t chase the shooters to the 3 point line or they blow by past him in the lane. He cannot play anymore. Even his triple doubles have no impact.

Sometimes I wonder if he’s playing possum just to make a miracle comeback. Because I can’t believe how slow he looks. Did Jordan at 40 let defenders run around him? Even Kuz had to push him to go play D. And then Bran blames his teammates for his own no defense.

Is he worse than David Lee when David Lee wasn’t playing D? I feel like Lebron cannot guard a turtle. I mean there are athletic little kids out there who could burn Lebron off the dribble.

Even when he did that Statue of Liberty dunk a couple weeks ago, he looked like a slow truck!

Watch how Lebron guards Lou Williams and Lou misses those shots.. Watch when Lebron defends Harell and and Harell gets nothing while Bron is guarding him.. You must have not watched the game..

I will admit that on team defense he has struggled.. But he isnt a net negative like the others so you stay mad and I stay stating facts..

Offensively Lebron was not good last night.. TOo many times he passed to Rondo.. Lebron is not looking to get injured so yea he has pretty much packed it up...

Hmm. I guess it depends on how you look at it.

If we're saying effort-wise, then yeah he's the worst because he cares even less than Harden.

If we're saying ability-wise, he can hold his own when he tries. But he doesn't have solid defensive fundamentals.

The question is, is it worse to TRY on defense and still be bad, or give zero effort whatsoever?
