It's already over Kobe stans. Enjoy having old Bron give the Lakers some spotlight for these next couple years.
Once Lebron plays next year, old Bron will have also surpassed old Kobe.
So we have:
Young Lebron>young Kobe
Prime Lebron>prime Kobe
And soon old Lebron>old Kobe

You can pick and choose all you want, Bran already passed Kobe years ago and MJ is still GOAT.
These are the facts.

Well yea, 6 is greater than 2 and 0. But losing doesnt define greatness.

Do you really still not understand how retarded it is to consider making more Finals to be a detriment. You really gonna pretend LeBron making the Finals this year would be worse than this current result :oldlol:

Personally, I've enjoyed this Lebron season and found it very comical. But once you surpass a player who has retired...well it's over.

Jerry West says Lebron is better.. THAT HAS TO HURT.. When your fav players' MENTOR says another player is up there with MJ.. But has never ever ever said that about Kobe...
The best thing that West said about Kobe was that he was a top 10 player all time.. Meanwhile he says Lebron is right there with MJ on ESPN radio

I feel like he surpassed him before that, but ya after the 2016 finals the idea of kobe being better than lebron became more of a joke/meme than an actual opinion

honestly 2013 was enough for me, 2016 just drove the point home hard enough to send kobe stans underground only showing their faces for the smallest victories now that their war is over. There's no world where kobe ranks over Lebron guys. He's just not as good at basketball, and that's ok my friends.

BTW I love Kobe, he is a top 7-8 player all time for me, but Lebron is top 4.
Not a big difference, but there is one.
MJ still reigns supreme!

I love how Bron stans are making a last defence push. The truth of the matter is recency bias is the only reason LeBron talk had any traction. A player is truly judged after their retired and the career has been seen and the recency bias has died down. LeBrons overall career is determined by a number of things. His failures in the finals have always been because of the same thing... he just doesnt have the mental make up of the guys higher on the list. You talk about winners (like Bird does) and he picks Kobe over Bron. Most guys do. Kobe wins. Kobe literally wills teams to win. He wouldnt have folded like Bron has this season.
The only difference with this season is that Bron is now in the spotlight. His SAME deficiencies are showing -- holds ball, gets his stats, was never a great defender, mental make up has been generally weak. He has been saved by lesser players in big moments. Thats not trolling, thats a fact. His other finals were pissed poor. Yes he had one of the best playoff runs last year, but he's also had some embarassing ones. Ones where he was favorited. Ones with super teams built and overall that record is pretty garbage when its all said and done. This season encapsulates Bron to a T. At the end of the day, when its all said and done. People will pick Kobe over Bron, because despite the stats.... one guy is a better champion and overall a better player because of his ability to win. You know... the reason why they play ball

so aside from ft shooting and perhaps mid range shooting; scoring, what other aspects of basketball is kobe better at? Not to mention the lunacy of Kobe being the better scorer but Lebron owning every scoring mark aside from regular season single game scoring records over him.

Making the finals is just making the finals. Big deal. Did you win the finals or not? Making the finals and losing just means you were the best loser. You dont win anything being a finals loser.
Then why do you care if the Lakers make the playoffs? They weren't winning it all anyways :oldlol:

all lebron proved in 2016 was that he could fluke out one series like baron davis's 2007 warriors
and he needed kyrie to lead the team in scoring when it wasn't garbage time. then hit the series winner after lebron called silver to get draymond suspended. its a fake title that he didn't even earn
that cavs team would have needed to fluke out 2-3 series before getting to the finals in 2016 had they played in a real conference. this season proves lebron was never a good enough leader to win a real title
